Go India Buyer — Fraud of Rs 8,999 for a Travel Package and Voucher

Go India Buyer staff called me saying they are calling from HDFC bank and need to confirm details as I exceeded my reward points for which they said they are giving me a gift bonus from their end. They took all the details including CVV (after convincing me for some time). They also managed to get OTP for transaction (of which I was not aware was taking place), for which I never received a message for amount deducted from HDFC. Later on, I came to know that they are from Go India Buyer and they mentioned Rs 33, 000 have been transacted from your HDFC credit card for a Travel package, a Rs5000 worth gift voucher and a branded goggles. When I came to know about the fraud, I was trying to cancel the transaction which took me 2:30 hours on call. I'm still not sure if the counter calls coming from HDFC stating the transactions were genuine or fraud. Finally, they demanded Rs 8, 999/- amount and mentioned to refund Rs 33, 000 so that I only end up spending Rs 8, 999 instead of Rs33, 000. When I contacted HDFC customer care, they mentioned no history of Rs33, 000 transaction, but my card was in blocked status. I'm still not aware about everything which happened. Now, I've lost Rs 8, 999/- for which they sent me a package as mentioned and I'm trying to return it but not successful as they are not answering the calls at Email - [protected]@goindiabuyer.com & Phone[protected],[protected]. I would like to register a fraud from Go India Buyer and want my money back.
