HCL hired me on 13th Dec 2021 and I submitted all documents asked by recruiter. After 2 months, HCL BGV (Background verification) Team said my BGV is red because I did not show previous company experience. They asked me to resign on this point but I resisted and told them that I have submitted appropriate documents. They kept on telling me that BGV is red and I need to resign. I resisted and involved HR team. HR team repeated same statements and asked me to submit evidences. I gave them the screenshots (that I luckily had) of all documents uploaded on BGV documents page. They kept it pending for 1 more month. After that, HR scheduled a meeting and told me that my last company relieving letter is not digitally signed. I struggled a lot to get it signed and it was informed to me by my last employer that it is already digitally signed and accepted worldwide in same form. However, HCL did not accept this validation and HR kept on asking me to get it signed. I also conferenced HCL HR and previous employer to clarify but HCL HR did not even consider this as true. Then my previous employer sent email to me stating what was discussed on meeting regarding valid document. Post this, HCL asked me to share screenshot of this email and relieving letter (though they already had all my documents). I followed it and did as they asked. Once this was also proven wrongly imposed upon me, HCL came back with another point against me. At this point, it all started looking like some personal vendetta and harrasment. They told me that missing previous employer experience was recruiter's mistake so they fired her and now it's time to fire me! I mean I wasn't even sure what was going on. Felt like a nexus working against me. I resisted and asked for a reason to do this because in my opinion I was all clear. But they introduced a new point, they said I have only submitted my Provisional degree certificate and it is not valid without final degree. I again got HCL HR and my college team on a call and got it clarified that DU SOL college degree is given after 5 years of graduation. But HR used this point against me and told me that they will initiate my EMS immediately. I asked for a policy where it is mentioned that provisional degree is not considered valid for employment but I got the answer that HR Team does not need to share any policies. This was so unprofessional and they told me that tomorrow is my last working day. How unfair and unprofessional attitude is exhibited by HCL BGV and HR teams.
