HCL Technologies — hired me for project and put me on bench within 2 months

I was hired in hcl for one of the project, everything was fine till the day i joined hcl, post joining they are saying position is on hold and they started looking for new projects, but unfortunately only one interview happened so far and others are done far name sake. I continuosly ask what next, what should i do, they said wait.
Now after 2 months they said you will be on bench until you will get new project and nothing is coming up now.
This look like i don't have job security and situation is pushing me to put papers, also seems like no one outside considering due to longer notice period
