I am still experiencing the worst service from HDFC life to get my money back.

Myself, Sheeba . I was holding 2 policies with hdfc and surrendered both on Jan 5th 2016 at Jayanagar, Bangalore Branch. As per the policy agreement this has to be credited with in 5-7 working days and I got one of the policy amount credited within 6 days. I was awaiting for the next and it didn’t come even after 2 weeks. I called the[protected] number and there was no update from them and just told its in progress. Since then I called them every day and one fine day someone told its ON HOLD due to address change issue. It was above my logic to understand how address change issue comes for a policy which was taken on the same day with the same details given for 2 policies and one got closed without any issue? There was no answer from customer care exe on this . Surprisingly you will never get any call in response for your grievance complaint as well and there is no direct number to call. Today its 30 days since I surrendered the policy and still no update on the money. Yesterday I came to know through one of the friend who works in hdfc that the branch asked for address change for one policy and the other one should be changed automatically, which was not happened in the system and head office with hold my money.
Question 1: if any issue, the customer should the first one to be informed- why this is not done even after a month ?
2. why there is no response for the grievance call / support mails?
3. Customer deserve an extra payout for the money they are holding illicitly .
4. why “ escalation “ matrix given in site is not working?
5. Unfortunately I am still chasing HDFC for my hard earned money …
6. Never ever recommend hdfc to anyone, it’s a lesson learnt.

    This all started in Nov 2015 and till date there has been 17 mail exchanges between HDFC Bank represented by Manikandan who says himself that he is a Manager - Grievance Cell . I had a Jumbo loan for Rs 2707.75 PM with first EMI in Oct 2015 which got autodebit from my HDFC savings bank account on 26 Oct so I mistook that every 26th HDFC will debit but it is for 25th of every month. I took the responsibility and was ready to pay the penalty for it. On 26 Nov I spoke to the HDFC customer service and as per their instruction and email which I received from HDFC asking me to pay the due amount through ATM. So at 1130 am I made tthe transfer to my Jumbo loan account and got it acknowledged from them. I also asked them as autodebit failed on 25 Nov whether your team will try again today (26 Nov) and even if there is 1% chance I will deposit some amount as I have Home Loan EMI on 27 Nov. They assured as payment is done all has been sorted and you will be informed on penality later for the auto debit failure. But on 26 Nov evening after I left the office HDFC had blocked Rs 2707.70 from my savings account due to which my HDFC home loan got affected. On 27 Nov I have to make almost 100 calls to release the hold amount. After much fight it was released on 27 Nov evening. If I havent paid this Jumbo loan amount on 26 Nov they would have anyway put an hold to my account for that amount and my home loan would have passed through. Now I am not ready to pay any penality for the delay for Jumbo loan as this had affected my Cibil rating for my home loan failure. I was penalised for Rs 850 + Tax and was refunded for Rs 450 only. Now I want me entire penalty amount to be refunded but there is no proper response. My only query is when my account was filled at 1200PM on 25 Nov with Rs 5000 why HDFC did not block my account and why was it blocked on 26 Nov evening after I had settled my dues. I had never signed any paper with HDFC for autodebit from my savings account for the Jumbo loan payment. As per RBI Bank should not penalise if payment is done within 3 days and as this Jumbo loan is from my Credit Card this should been followed. I have been using this HDFC Card for 6 years from now and has been paying full amount without any due and i never expected this type of response from HDFC team.

        I have applied a personal loan in HDFC bank recently 1 week back for 2 Lakh rupees


        and My loan got approved and it has been credited in to my account on Monday evening (03/02/2016).

        but out of 2 lakh rupees the bank people has deposited only 1, 93, 427 rupees to my account..

        on this issue called the customer care people


        They Said For Loan processing and other documentation charges 2100 has been debited and

        the remaining whole amount 4, 365/- the bank people are saying for insurance it has been debited...


        I haven't said to the bank people that i need insurance for my personal loan...


        But With out My Permission They Directly Debited My Amount and Not giving Proper Response Now...


        I called The Sales Executive Who is in touch with me Regarding to the Personal Loan Matter

        and Today also i have called that person but he is not answering to my call no.of times i called him...


        And From Customer care People I got the Sales Manager Hdfc who approved my Loan

        And he is also not giving proper answer...

          HDFC bank illegally deducting amount from my account for last 8 years with unknown name in the statement

          Recently I noticed HDFC bank illegally deducting amount from my account for last 8 years with unknown name in the statement. When I spoke to them, I was shocked knowing they were illegally deducting the amount. They opened Mutual fund account without my knowledge, and starting deducing every quarter.           I have sent multiple reminders to HDFC regarding my Credit Card : 5520-XXXX-XXXX-3337 to get the CIBIL Correction from HDFC as I have paid the full amount long time back and already got the No Due Certificate from them.

            I want to highlight a clear case of rash driving by the below vehicle on 26/09/2015 at senapati bapat rd, pune.

            The driver almost cut 3 bike riders from left including myself n we were almost down but managed to get balance.

            When requested to drive with care the driver was abusive. Later, we realized he was drunk since he was smelling foul with alcohol odor.

            Kindly suspend the licence of such driver since he could be responsible for many fatalities on the road.

            The same was informed yesterday itself to local authorities but this was something even the RTO team should be informed, hence I have dropped the mail.

              I have a personal loan in HDFC BISTUPUR, JAMSHEDPUR, I had sufficient in SBI account where my cheque is presenting ECS, I asked to SBI they have told HDFC not presented any cheque on 7.1.16 (it is my monthly installment date), I went to HDFC, they have told me to deposit eith fine, I have deposited RS.5530 INSTEAD OF RS. 4651. Pl. return this fine amount & adjust in next premium. Why such type of disturvance to customer. After 18 days they have given statement RBI Sequence no [protected] Return code 9. dt 7.1.16. But they have not presented ECS in my SBI.

                Hi,
                I received a start up kit for a Salary account in November. I have lost the atm pin and Internet banking pin(neither of which are retrievable over the internet- Surprisingly!!)
                The customer care number 61606161 never answers the call..I think I have called them as many as 10 times and hold the phone for 10-15 minutes and then suddenly the call gets disconnected on it's own. (amazingly they know it will--hence a message comes every few seconds "if the phone gets disconnected due to technical issues at the Sp's end do call us again")

                I went to 6th Block Koramngala branch and placed a request for an otp on Thursday[protected] and was assure i will receive it in 3 days. I haven't.
                I would want to know how do I do my day to day transactions if the bank's customer relations are so pathetic.

                I am dejected by the attitude/services provided by the bank and feel frustrated to be stuck with them!

                            We are being harassed by HDFC credit card division over my ex-tenant's credit card. Given that tenant name is same as
                            my father's name and the ex-tenant is not paying his dues, each time guys from HDFC comes and shouts at my mother for not paying dues.

                            The ex-tenant vacated my house one year back and haven't changed his address. We have informed HDFC several times the change of address, but they
                            do not bother to call the ex-tenant and instead they show up at my home and shout at my mother.

                            Bank manager has said he cannot do anything unless the ex-tenant changes his address with HDFC.We need this issue to be resolved.
                            HDFC has current phone number of ex-tenant but not his address. They have refused to heed to our request for the past 11 months.


                            Affected citizen.

                            Note: My father and ex-tenant has account with HDFC and both have credit cards. Except floor name difference in address, everything is same. The ex-tenant is working with AXIS bank. I have asked HDFC to contact the ex-tenant to contact the person but they are inclined to do so.

                              Since October there is a deduction of 687 Rs/ from my account as CESS charge ( Not maintaining of Minimum average balance.)                               Why you made this chat complaint forum, if you don't have time to revert on the same chat. Very bad service from HDFC. I will never suggest anybody to open any account and not to own any debit and credit card of HDFC.
                              I got frustrated with your services.
                              I have a credit card also there is no installment process in your account. Every other provide this facility and in HDFC you have to check your online banking everyday for EMI offers to pay your bills. If you get an EMI offer, you are luckey. otherwise you have to pay fine for the same.
                              I got my money back. but still I am not very much happy.. By the way Thanks to you guys. Today You made my day.

                                My no.[protected] I have requested him to call him after one hour as I was in meeting but he has refuse to accept the request and called more than 50 times within this hour and used bad words and hurting language like go to gurdwara and others.. I feel if any delay payment hdfc charge interstate normal overdue and panel interest then y these pupils are harassing to the customer and using misappropriate words . Have recording also if need I can send u the records.I have not able to understand wetter repeated complains how hdfc is keeping these people's on their panel who are not able to give their employee I'd to record the complain against them .. kindly reply back with a action taken by the bank and hdfc bank no from which he called 66577530, 66577560, 47475300..referring matter to legal action.

                                I have to complain again . That somebody has called from no [protected] sayING that he is calling from hdfc and asking other debit and credit card number and cvv number for continue the credit card otherwise it will be blocked for verification . I refuse to give him the cvv no of my other card and he has disconnected the call.I request to enquire the matter as soon as possible and an urgent basis .. we feel and forwarding this number for police verification .

                                  MY NPS account is opened and is still in processing even after 20days. Worst people and worst service. I needed my documents last week to process my tax service at my office. Our deadlines are over. I have informed HDFC securities to not delay. They assured me that it will be done in 7~10 days. Its been 21 days now, even today they are saying they need 8~10 days. Worst service

                                  HDFC Securities — Depository charges being charged often.

                                  They often charge depository charges for no proper reason. Also the brokerage is tooooooooooooooo high when compared to other banks.
                                  I opened the NPS account in january 2017 but still in frozen state. contacted the hdfc security as well as the branch where I have account but no one know how to resolve the nps problems in HDFC.
                                  also raised the Grievance below is the reply.

                                  4. Details of Resolution: Dear Subscriber, we have verified our records and it has been observed that we have received the physical copy of your subscriber registration form and the same has been accepted in CRA system.Further, we wish to inform you that your PRAN was generated using eNPS (PAN based) platform. Your KYC verification will be done by the concerned bank through which you have registered your PRAN. Since your KYC is not verified by the bank, your PRAN is in freeze status. Kindly note that there can be no transaction or reset of I-PIN/T-PIN carried out in your account once the PRAN is in the Freeze status. Therefore, you are requested to contact your respective bank for more clarification. The steps to be followed by the POP Bank Users for KYC verification are: Step 1: Bank User will login into CRA system and access the option for KYC verification under Subscriber Registration option. Step 2: The Bank User enters necessary details to search for the records to be verified. The search can be based on PRAN, Acknowledgment No. or Date Range. Users may please note that the date range for the search cannot be greater than 15 days.Step 3: Based on search criteria, the list of PRAN which are pending for KYC verification will be available. Step 4: The POP Bank User will click on the link, To be verified? and the Subscriber details will be displayed. The POP Bank User will verify the details provided by Subscriber in eNPS and details available in the Core Banking System (CBS). Step 5: Once User clicks on `Confirm' then need to select DSC and Click on, OK to complete the verification. Step 6: Once the KYC is successfully verified by Bank, an alert will be send to the Subscriber and PRAN will be activated in CRA system. In case of any rejection, an alert will be send to the Subscriber for further course of action.We thank you for being our valuable Subscriber.

                                  Worst service of hdfc in NPS . they keep passing the ball instead of resolving the probem.

                                  I too facing same issue with HDFC bank as with Ram_Joshi and got same long reply from eNPS CRA. but when I contacted with Bank they are not resolving queries or giving proper reason. So I want to change Bank details given to NPS. Please let me know how can I change my banker in eNPS so that I can get it verified both PAN and Bank details.
                                  Many of my friends opened eNPS account with Aadhar based verification so there account not frozen at all.

                                  Dear CRA/NSDL ban HDFC bank from NPS
                                  Similar Situation with me too. I opened eNPS account with NSDL and chose HDFC bank for KYC verification on 24 Jan 2019.
                                  Till date my account is in frozen status.
                                  I followed up with bank many times, I physically went branch for KYC verification but none of them knew about it.They told me to verify KYC with HDFC securities. When I called HDFC Securities for KYC verification of NPS account, they told me to verify with HDFC bank branch.
                                  Worst experience with HDFC bank, I am using HDFC salary account since 10 years.
                                  HDFC Bank you just lost one customer, if you don't improve your service you will loose many more.
                                  NPS Trust/NSDL please remove HDFC bank from your list of POP.

                                    In my Unbilled cc bill 572.50/- has been added as FIRST YEAR MEM FEE INCL ST & SBC 572.50/- on Date 25/01/2016 . I am really confused after seeing this, At the time of issuing the card HDFC people said me that card was free of cost with no annual fee and it will be waived off.This is something which was never told to me. I received CC on date 02/01/2016 and using cc from 6/01/2016 only.

                                      I am having a car loan vide HDFC BANK AUTO LOAN #31491911 and EMI is deducted on 7th. day of each month from my bank a/c with SBI. In this month i.e Jan2016, the hdfc did not submit for ECS by stipulated date and instead compelled me to deposit in cash on 24Jan, 2016 for which they issued a cash reciept. Later on 27Jan, 2016 the HDFC bank did submit the ECS also and got my SBI a/c deducted for EMI of Rs.6226/=

                                      I am having a two wheeler loan vide HDFC BANK LOAN #40569018 and EMI is deducted on 5th. day of each month from my bank a/c with Dena. In this month i.e Oct2016, HDFC did not submit for ECS by stipulated date and instead compelled me to deposit in cash on 14Oct, 2016 for which they issued a cash reciept. Later on 15Oct, 2016 the HDFC bank did submit the ECS also and got my Dena a/c deducted for EMI of Rs.2120/-
