Dear Sir/Madam,
On 11 May, 2015, I booked a room for five nights (May 12 to 17) at Hotel Sreekrishna Grand, Hyderabad using their own website " www.hotelsreekrishnagrand.com". A sum of rupees 15, 177 (fifteen thousand one hundred and seventy seven) was debited from my SBI account by netbanking payment for the room, and a Reservation Voucher - Confirmation bearing booking number 17018 was sent to my email address from their office email " [protected]@hotelsrekrishnagrand.com".
However, to my surprise, I was told at the time of check-in that they have not received the amount and moreover they claimed that they did not have online booking option. But I know their website has the "book now" option at the top right hand corner.
The payment was done through a portal generated by their website and credited to INB IBIBO Web Pvt. Ltd. with reference no.[protected]IG00ZZPHZ5 transfer to [protected] SBI India O. But they said that this account had nothing to do with the hotel and their account is different.
The hotel staffs were very helpful, but I had to pay again for the room at the time of check-out; I paid using my SBI debit card this time. Whose fault is it, the hotel or the bank, or a sheer bad luck for me!
