Hi. I found this website while looking for websites that provide domestic help on an immediate basis in bangalore. I registered on this website on 8th march, 2020. Upon registering, i received what looked like an auto generated email from the company. There was no receipt or registration number provided for the said registration and they had deducted rs 999 for the same.
When i found this activity suspicious, i tried calling on the customer care number they'd provided on the website[protected]. When i called it, an automated female voice said something along the lines of "sorry. We're not accepting any new registrations owing to the backlog of pending registrations" and got disconnected automatically. I tried another number which was provided in the automated email they sent me[protected], it didn't even ring and i got the message that the number does not exist.
I then turned to write to the email id which was provided by the company on 9th march 2020 and asked them to either get in touch with me regarding the domestic help requirement or issue a refund. It's 12th march today and i haven't received any response from their side... Therefore leaving me with no other option than to turn to consumer complaints.
Opening this page, i realised i'm not the only one who has been duped by this fake company. This looks like some kind of cover for fraudulent practices which involves making money of[censored]nsuspecting customers who're in need.
I urge consumer complaints to take appropriate actions against this kind of fraud so that it doesn't happen to the next person. I'd also like to receive a refund of the rs 999 which was wrongfully deducted from me. Was this information helpful? |
