I purchased HP Pavillion laptop worth rs. 56, 000 in September 2023. Yesterday, the LED screen in my laptop stopped working all of a sudden without any physical injury / mishap on my part. The laptop is brand new and still under warranty. The customer care refused to consider it under warranty and I was asked to pay rs. 15000 for the damage repair, and alleged that it was consumer injury and the warranty won't cover it.
They checked a laptop thoroughly and asked if I could wait a few days. They rejected my plea and refused to repair the laptop under warranty.
