I had got some work done by Hyundai Motor Plaza, Cotton Greens, Mumbai after which my clutch was giving me trouble. I told then at the work shop itself and they kept the car for over 10 days and said they will change the parts by issuing then on an in warranty vehicle since the clutch problem started due to "workshop fault". I still had to make payment (around Rs.10000) for some work regarding this though it was no fault of mine..
The problem kept persisting and they kept working on it thereafter without any documentation as they said they're doing it in the name of another vehicle and they cannot show documentation else I'll have to pay for it. ...
The workshop has closed down. My clutch is still hard and giving me too much problem.
I continued follow up with my service advisor Harish Shetty who now works with hyundai, Chennai but it was no help.
I'm taking up the matter seriously now because my vehicle is giving me a very hard time off late. .
I have given my vehicle to Global Gallerie, Chandivali, Mumbai for work and they gave me an estimate of Rs. 36000/- even though the service advisor Harish Shetty had spoken to them and confirmed my mentioned side of the story.
I am thoroughly disappointed with lack of help from hyundai and poor service though I have always taken it to authorised service stations. ..
I do not think I can ever recommend purchase or even buy a new hyundai in the future if this is how a customer is cheated past sales. ..
It is impossible to speak with senior people or even your regional offices and local service centres have no authority. ...
