The CNG meter has been changed twice already within 8 months of purchasing this car. The CNG meter is completely dis functional as one cannot rely on CnG bars while driving.
1. First bar of the CNG indicator disappears as soon as the CNG gas is refilled and the ignition is turned on.
2. 2, 3&4th CNG indicator bars run only 18km
3. After that all the bars function as per their own mood.. one has to keep calculating the kilometer driven while driving the car to work.(Attached 15 pics for reference)
4. Why don't your sales team tell this at the time of purchase that all the hassle of calculating the kilometer will be borne by the customer.
5. Before discovering this issue. Twice I got stuck in the middle of a dark road at night while I was traveling with my family and suddenly all the last 3 CNG bars dropped within a span of 15 minutes at an average speed of 50 km. My entire family was stranded on a strange road with no nearby fuel pump within a radius of 5 kms. Luckily I had petrol that day." Had something happened to me and my family that night, who would have been responsible for that?"
Suffering from a long time, I still took the initiative to go to the Okhla cng plant and get my CNG meter replaced. Mr Deepak wadhwa from CNG okhla team confirmed that these are known issues in CNG models where CNG meter and mileage are going down, the R & D team is working on it and will receive the update soon but how long does it mean when people say "coming soon"?
My concern is that why don't Hyundai recall all the faulty models and then rectify the issue before handing it over to the customer? Why are you still selling this type of faulty model in the market when your R&D team is still doing research?
Why has the sales team not informed me regarding this known issue before? I have not paid 8.75lakh for research and development purposes. I shifted from Maruti to Hyundai with a hope to get better product and quality but here you sold me a defective product. I don't want any mental headache of keeping my brain occupied with the kilometer calculation all the time while I am driving. Neither can I use this Car for long journeys.
What shall I do with this Car??.. Either I keep it parked or only use this at petrol.. Please answer.
