With ref to the subject vin malch41wr5m133912
I purchased a radiator cap from united motors s. B. Temple road gulbarga karnataka. Who are the authorised dealer's for hyundai cars.
I took the car to their shop and asked for the radiator cap, the receptionist checked my car and she gave me a radiator cap with part no[protected].
It fitted well with my cars radiator and used for few days then one day the radiator cooling pipe busted when i was travelling to outstation due to sudden stoppage of my car on a speed breaker.
When i consulted the mechanic he said that the cap was put with wrong capacity, he showed me the punch marks which says 1.4 where as my old radiator cap had 0.9.
When i went back to united motors after this the receptionist talked to the customer care and confirmed that it was wrong part given to me.
And now the receptionist does not want to apologize for this and she ended up with argument with me
When i spoke to the owner mr gaffar, he says that the punch marks and vin doesn't matter, if it fits in the radiator then it's the correct part.
Kindly advice and take necessary action against this.
