I have purchased hyundai i10 asta (O) 1.2. Bsi bearing chasis no. Mala851clfm337071; engine no. G4lafm754346; having registration no. Kl7 ce 9074 as per invoice no. 1173 dated 21.11.2015 from m/s. Popular hyundai, vytilla, kochi-19. Since august 2017, the vehicle has run only 3130 kms and shown breakdown problems. The technicians informed as there was a complaint with the starting unit which have to be replaced and an amount of rs. 25, 000/- will incur. As the vehicle is in the warranty period and we informed the same to them, they have done some minor repair and made the vehicle running. On 19th september 2017, again the vehicle shown the same problem and the service centre had taken the vehicle spotting the same error and demanded to replace the starting unit. Again, they have suggested to repair the same while we have informed the period of warranty.
This is to bring to your kind notice, the warranty period of my vehicle is going to expire, and the technicians if repair with minor corrections, which again after the completion of warranty period i am afraid, if such error again happens will costs me huge amount to repair. This is to inform you that, you have to give assurance from your side, as i had used the vehicle in lesser kilometers and in the beginning, itself such problems had occurred, you may extent the warranty, which can clear my worry on the unit repaired rather than replacing the unit.
You are requested to do the needful, to make my vehicle’s issues to be cleared permanently or you may extent the warranty to such an extent, which has to be informed to me and the service centre at the earliest to avoid any legal actions from my side.
