I 20 Vehicle No :TN20BQ 4507, Self driven.Total distance covered 21659 Km Only .
On march 12.03.15 while travelling with family Burning smell observed inside cabin & found Engine compartment is full of smoke and Car escaped from catching fire due to bad service .
HISTORY:On Dec 14 vehicle went for A/C repair and Evaporator assy, A/C compressor oil, A/C gas replaced at Oman hyundai service centre.Poonamallee and around Rs 5000 charged.
FAILIURE:With in three months this incident happened with a total Km of around 450 after service
ACTION TAKEN: Car taken by Oman service centre for diagnosis and informed me A/C compressor, Condenser, Expansion valve, hose etc got failed and estimate of around 40000 is given which is shocking and not accepted of their poor service.
So I raised Call log & mail raised to Hyundai service management for investigation to confirm Service or system failure and get some support .After 3 days Hyundai service management confirmed the duplication of same what Oman has said .
As a customer how a proven running model i 20 will have this safety issue and why the service centre has not identified during service on dec 14 and lead to such big failure.
Already 5000 is spent and another 40000 how a customer will afford such huge amount. No support or help from hyundai management which makes me total dissatisfied.
Requesting hyundai management to look into this issue once again and do some needful for customer satisfaction.
