Hyundai delivered i20 with various manufacturing defects to me. First time it was the engine oil leakage which was identified in first free service. After few months same problem was again identified and engine block was replaced by them. After few more months Horn stopped working so I took car to service station and came to know that engine oil was almost finished. After inspection they told me that since day one, one of the pistons of engine was not working and they wonder now car was running till now. They replaced the piston block. Have I used this car for 1 more day engine would have been ceased that is what Hyundai was saying, but there was no warning light displayed for engine oil. As after every few months this car is showing new faults in some or other part of engine, I am asking to either replace my car or extend the warranty of car for next 3 years, they are not ready to do it. After delivering car with so many manufacturing defects in heart of car (i.e. engine) they are not taking any responsibility. Whenever I file complain to Hyundai Worldwide that enquire is diverted to Hyundai India and then to local service center (i.e. Modi Hyundai, Thane). First of all Hyundai India is not ready to take responsibility at all and other then that Modi Hyundai keeps changing their words. After many enquires Modi Hyundai was first ready to give 30% discount on warranty for next 3 years (i.e. 3rd, 4th, 5th yrs) (I have mail as a proof) and now they are saying we will only give discount of 50% on only 3rd year warranty (not 4th & 5th). Is this the trend of Hyundai? First deliver faulty cars and then ask customer to pay for extended warranties. As if they will deliver car with no faults then why customer will go for extended warranty. Good way to earn money from cheating. Was this information helpful? |
