Dear Sir/ Ma'm
This is to inform you that I have been going trough a harrowing experience since 6th of July 2015 after I placed my i10 sportz car with Hyundai authorised dealer/ service centre i.e. Aditya Hyundai. Here the complete story goes:
1) I gave my car to this dealer for a repair/ service with a complaint - oil leakage from gear box chamber on 6th July 2015. The technical adviser in the evening called me saying everything was fine after complete washing and trial road drive no leakage was marked, suggested me to take back the car. But I suggested him to have a relook and make some more trial drive.
2) On 7th afternoon the shop floor manager called me up and told that there is a small hairline crack noticed on the left side lower portion of gear box and oil seems seeping very minutely and asked me to come down next day to verify.
3) I went on the 8th July (morning) to workshop and found the same thing as the car was put on a lifted position. Upon suggested by shop floor manager, I submitted all requisite papers for claiming insurance (Bajaj Allianz)to the Body shop manager, registered a case online. The assigned surveyor came and took photograph. The surveyor informed that on the right side also there seem to be a small crack like indication as established by the bodyshop manager.
4) On 9th July I received an work estimate (two parts) and additional of Rs.19, 436 the same estimate copy which was sent to Insurance surveyor. My insurance claim is not being processed as the surveyor is not convinced of the right side damage (it was also a surprise how this could be shown to me in the morning but later on shown to the surveyor), unless the gearbox is dismantled and he takes actual photograph.
5) My car is being parked in open air under no roof, as the workshop has no space, the housing is not being dismantled as the body shop manager claims he does not have the part, is waiting for the part to come from the principal company.
6) I lodged a complaint with HMIL, tool free on 14th July, case id[protected]. I was given assurance by the customer care personnel that within next 24 hrs I would be getting an revert.That did never happen, I once gain called up this toll free on 15th July afternoon that I was given very unprofessional answer, the revert from he dealer was awaited.
7) I searched through the mobile number of Mr Harmohan Pattanaik, AVP, Aditya Car Care and called him up Mob-[protected] on 16th July afternoon twice to make him aware of my plight, I was facing without my car in this monsoon and there was absolutely silence from Aditya Hyundai concerned department or person unless I asked them time & again. He promised me to call back after proper investigation as that time he was away from the shop. But his revert never came back. Instead his bodyshop manager called me back saying that he had come to know about my complaints, the part is awaited which was requisitioned on 10th of July, the very next day after the estimate was made. But as per the revert record from dealer with HMIL, the part was requisitioned only on 13th July.
Till now my car has not be taken up for repair or dismantling, nobody is just bothered to care for my genuine plight
I have never come across such an unprofessional environment and had never ever expected an strong quality and customer friendly company like HMIL could stand by such low degree of standards. Since I had purchased car from the same dealer there is track record that I have serviced my car there only. Until then my feedback and satisfaction was given utmost priority as both the dealer and its technical advisor was pretty serious about the marking 9 or 10 on a 10 point scale from me. I was just goin through the MD (HMIL)'s statement on Customer satisfaction or DElight it looks very unconvincing now.
With such a small cause and requirement of repair they have kept me in lurch.
Hope this experience is shared among larger section of prospective and existing customers who definitely run the risk of a potential danger of ill treatment and misleading facts and dubious situation with regards to service assurance
