Hi,
I have i20 elite (Asta), purchesed in mid of april 2015, till date aprox 13500 km covered.
On sunday evening, 24th sep 2017, it wsa not started, even after number of attempts.
Called service engineer for capital hyundai, noida, sec 63. He examined and said, it needs to take to service centre. He started my car with jumping. I took the car to service center with him.
At service center, has been told that battery is dead, required to replace it
(Not sure what quality company providing on only 13500 km battery is dead even whem my car is running every day, no huge traffic, single person driving as well).
After my confirmation they completed all the formalities and took my car inside the service center for fitting of battery.
Finnaly they came up for billing, i saw the invoce and noticed battery named for i10, have asked why it is they informed both vechile having same battery fitting, any way i don't have any choice as vechile is not starting and battery is already fitted so i paid the amount.
Later i checked on internet and found i20 having different fitting.
Now not sure what is the impact on vechile in future as well as what extra i paid.
Finally it seems hyundai does not have there brand value not on authenticity as well as quality they are providing...
Can anyone one let me know what will happen to the vechile??? And why they do so...
