Quite unfortunate to raise a complaint on the service from a well-known washing machine brand in India, which is IFB. My washing machine is in warranty period and technician is shown very much unprofessionalism. Handling the washing machine not with care.
Ticket # [protected] - The technician visited my home and told me that a spare part is required to get from IFB and the order takes 1 week. He told filter needed to be added with customer cost, de-scaling packets 5 worth 1000 INR and service charges 800 INR, and a few more. After that, he cancelled the ticket saying the customer did not respond. Trust me that we are following up with customer service every day almost, please check the records.
I raised another service ticket # [protected] on 10th May for the same issue. The technician visited my home without prior information, and when the power was off at my home. He replaced the part and left without testing. And he closed the ticket. I don’t understand why IFB technicians are doing repairs when electricity is not there at home and closing the ticket without verifying whether the issue is fixed or not. While repairing, and handling the machine is ridiculous, we are not happy with the way he handles the machine. Another silly thing is, they are trying to cancel the ticket today.
The customer service team same says they have escalated the issue and the technician will tomorrow. Every day I was required to stay at home without going to our regular work and waiting for his call. But the technician won’t attend. This is the practice that I have been making for the past 3weeks. I am not sure still how many days I need to wait for my washing machine to get repaired.
May I expect a technician to fix the issue at the earliest?? Can be a senior technician who can handle the machine with care? Was this information helpful? |
