We've been loyal Indane gas subscribers for a decade, but now we're facing serious issues with Someshwara Indane Gas, Adoni, (518301).
Cylinders aren't being delivered to Kadithota village that is 8km away from the location, affecting all households. On top of that, we're slapped with an additional ₹25 charge when we go to the agency godown, despite the bill showing ₹875 on the Indane portal.
Over 10+ households in our village are enduring this unfair treatment. We demand immediate resolution and the removal of these unjust extra charges.
We urgently request that the gas agency deliver cylinders directly to the homes in our village. Currently, the community is forced to transport gas cylinders on two-wheelers, which is not only unsafe but also a violation of Rule 138 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR), 1989. This rule mandates that vehicles transporting hazardous materials, including gas cylinders, must meet specific safety and operational standards to ensure public safety. The current practice poses significant risks to road safety and could lead to severe accidents that impact not just our village but potentially the entire country. We urge the relevant authorities to address this issue promptly to prevent potential hazards and ensure safe, pollution-free delivery services, especially for remote areas.
