I am a customer of saving account of Indian Overseas Bank, Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi branch from last several years with Account No : XXXX609. This is a joint account between me and my late mother Mrs. Shashi Nair.
On Dec 22nd, 2023, I've submitted form to mark her name as deceased in the savings account and transfer the Fixed Deposit which her in name with registered nominee.
I've also submitted forms for updating mobile and email number linked to the account to my existing contact details with required proofs.
All self-attested copies of supporting document have been handed over in the branch on same day and I was assured that the update would be done within 5-7 business days.
It has been almost a month and I do not see and update or communication from the bank to me regarding this. I do not live nearby the branch and it is difficult to travel to the branch just to get update on the process. I've checked with official customer care of Indian Overseas Bank and the shared landline number on official website and customer executive are all out of service.
