Dear sir/madam
This is to bring it to your notice that i flew on 17.10.2017 from mumbai to bhubaneshwar in no.6e 598 vide booking ref. Bcl5kg.
Me and my friend were denied the baggage allowance for students and had to pay for it. We were told that the booking was not made under the particular reference, when i had received the discount on the ticket price and a call afterwards confirming the privileges.
Our baggage was also not weighed properly. My friend was carrying a luggage bigger than me. Yet we were told we exceeded the allowance equally. Also no bill was provided for the payment i made at the counter except my credit card bill.
The ground staff was very casual about it and said this was a very regular thing to happen. The lady at the counter kept on calling others and checking for the claim, causing unnecessary delay.
It was a horrible experience for us and caused unnecessary stress when we had taken all measures while booking the ticket.
I always travel by this airline and this is the second time i am facing such an inconvenience. Earlier too i had cancelled my ticket and booked a now one but just before flying came to know that there has neither been any cancellation nor any booking.
This is not expected from an airline which claims efficiency!!
