I travelled from Oslo - Doha - Delhi on Qatar/Indigo on 19.07.23 (PNR) and in one of my bags multiple blade cut marks and a hole were observed while taking the delivery of bag at delhi airport. Please see attached picture and Property Irregularity Report from Indigo staff at the airport.
I was given a Property Irregularity Report with Airport staff marking the damage as Minor, though in no way the damage was minor, airport staff asked me to write an email highlighted in PIR and explain the nature of problem.
When i reached out to customer relations email, in less than 10minute of sending my email with all attachments and pictures, the case was closed siting the condition of carriage and Indigo not liable for wear and tear of the bag.
I want to highilght to the forum that multiple fresh cut marks in the bag with a deep hole, is by no means a normal wear and tear and is bad handling of the bag by airline staff resulting in the damage.
