Dear Sir/Madam,
I travelled by Indigo Airlines from New Delhi to Bengaluru on 15th March 2015 evening (via flight 6E 107). Upon arrival in Bengaluru, I noticed that my check-in baggage was tore from one side due to mishandling by air lines staff.
I immediately reported the same to Indigo on-ground personnel. They accepted the mistake and offered me the compensation of INR 500. Since this is a new bag, just bought two months back and this is the second time I’ve experienced such problem with Indigo therefore I refused to accept the compensation amount and demanded for proper repair / replacement of bag or complete amount of bag itself.
Indigo Bengaluru person-in-charge (Mr. Santosh) asked me to raise CR and assured that CR team will offer better compensation therefore I agreed the same and left the place after struggling for 2 hours with them. Next day, I received an e-mail from Indigo CR team directly offering amount of INR500 once again without having any discussion with me or without my consent.
After numerous attempts to Indigo – Bengaluru helpline number (i.e. +91 [protected]), I was able to speak some responsible person (Ms. Deepika) who assured me that my bag will get repaired perfectly with no sign of damage or repair. However today I got call from Indigo vendor and they informed that bag will get repair but they cannot guarantee about the material and shade of the replaced panel, so repaired side may not look like the other sides of bag. I’m a frequent overseas traveler and I cannot travel with such kind of cartoonish bag.
I’ve another overseas travel coming Sunday (i.e. 22nd Mar 2015) which I informed to Bengaluru Indigo staff as well on 15th March 2015 and having such damage bag and with such type o[censored]seless response on top of it are not only leading me to buy another bag but also made me suffer through mental harassment.
This is a new fine quality ultra-light weight bag from American Tourister and I bought it for handsome amount. Despite of several reminders I didn't get any response from Indigo customer relations team therefore I humbly request you to look into the same and do the needful. Looking forward towards favorable response.
Attached is the copy of the mail, sent by Indigo-Bengaluru personnel to Indigo customer relations team.

Yours faithfully
