Respected Sir,
I am submitting my complaint as under:
With an intention to travel from Bangalore to Nagpur on[protected] by IndiGo Flight No.6E509 of 06-10 AM
I have purchased an Economy class ticket with goibibo by paying an amount of Rs.6, 902/- it is a confirmed ticket bearing (PNR-NHBQ7E)
I am a senior citizen aged above more than 66 years.
I am an Advocate by profession practicing at High court Bangalore.
On[protected] I reached Bangalore Air port at 04-30 AM
I found the Indigo airlines ground staff made all indigo passengers for all the destinations to stand in one and the same queue. I also stand in the same queue.
And by the time i reached check in counter No.32
they informed me that i am late and the check in is just closed and refused to give the boarding pass.
I informed them that since 4-30 AM I am standing in the queue and nobody informed me about the same.
And in fact there was no body from the Airlines to at least ask the Nagpur passengers to come and take the boarding pass early.
The person sitting on counter No.32 in a rude manner asked me to go to the IdiGo booking/receiption counter.
I went to the IdiGo booking/reception counter and found a huge queue.
I informed/conveyed my problem, to the staff who is a lady.
She toled me that I have to pay and additional amount of Rs.2, 500/- so that she can book my ticket in their 2:30 PM flight.
I tolled her as to where I should stay till 2:30 PM in such a clod weather.
She did not respond.
I asked her to cancel my ticket and refund my amount, she refused to do so.
I was informed that without the permission of IndiGo I can not go out of the Airport.
I asked them to allow me to go out of the Airport, but there was no response and after repeated requests i was allowed to go pout of the Airport at 7 AM.
in this way actually I was compelled to be under illegal and wrongful confinement and detention of IndiGo authorities of Airport Bangalore from 4:30 AM to 07 AM.
The IndiGo staff both at check-in counter and reception counters were extremely slow.
That actually there was a quarrel in between the staff of counter No.33 and the other passenger, who was questioning the very rude behavior of the staff.
Later I came to know that some of their flight was already delayed and some of them were even cancelled.
I am extremely disappointed by indigo airline services.
As Bangalore airport is silent airport staff should have informed people/passengers and formed separate queue for people who have to board first.
Even after standing in queue and staying with them from 4:30 to 7 AM i.e. for more than 2 and half hour the ground staff management of IndiGo at Bangalore airport were the reason for my suffering and wrongful as well as illegal detention against my will.
I found the IndiGo staff was looking towards me as if I have committed a crime by demanding the refund and refusing to purchase ticket by paying an additional amount of Rs.2500/- of 2:30 PM flight of IndiGo and commenting unreasonably.
For the above reason i was upset and have to return to my house.
Hence I humbly request your good self to return my ticket amount and direct the IndiGo Airlines to pay compensation of Rs.5/- lace towards the mental, as well as actual physical harassment to the complainant in the very clod early morning of[protected] at Bangalore Airport, hence this complaint.
