Sir/madam,
I was to fly from hyderabad to kochi on 6-april-2018 in an indigo flight scheduled to depart at 2:30 pm. I reached the check in counter at 1:50 and was disallowed to board. Reason given is late show.
I understand your motto of early departure and early arrival but do you really want to achieve all those targets after causing trauma to passengers.in my case i did not have any connection flight but there were other indigo passengers who were stranded at the airport in the same situation - flying to other destinations.
Alternate flights suggested by the staff were exorbitantly priced. I was able to book for the next indigo flight while the staff at the airport told me that the flight is fully booked. So, what’s happening here? Is this some gimmick to charge customers when in india there are late comers always for obvious reasons.
Its not that i am flying for the first time but a 5 or 10 mt delay to report at check in counter should not cause so much stress - both emotional and financial one to passengers. Nobody reaches the airport deliberately late at time’s unforeseen circumstances do occur, a slight flexibility would be really appreciated. Was this information helpful? |
