The practices being followed by Indigo for web checkin and seat allocation amount to harassment of customers. The airline is blocking all the seats(even when nobody has checked in or the flight is half-empty) and giving the most undesirable seats as the ONLY OPTION to customers.
As a couple when I try to checkin for my wife and I, we are being given the option of non-reclining, middle row seats separate from each other during COVID time.
Consumre COmplaints forum & the DGCA has to protect customer interests and take action against such coercive business practices that amounts to extortion.
Attached are the blocked seats for an Indigo flight I am taking from Chennai to Hyderabad
