Myself and my wife had a flight from Bangalore to Raipur (PNR-GYJ4NJ-via Indore) on 16th Dec.
We reached the airport before time, did check-in and were off the security check before boarding time.
During boarding I was pulled out because apparently the airlines do not allow powerbanks in check-in luggage which was neither communicated at the counter, or through email/sms.
My wife who was 8 months pregnant was allowed to board and by the time I was back to the boarding gate after resolving the issue of powerbank.
Indigo staff closed the gate and denied me boarding which was unethical as I was called out at the last moment and the indigo staff was all the way with me during this incident.
No one cooperated with me and behaved very inappropriately by not letting my pregnant wife to de-board or let me in with the luggage left unattended in the airport premises in one corner. This caused a lot of mental and physical stress to both o[censored]s.
Also, airlines denied rescheduling my flight and asked me to buy a fresh ticket initially and later saying no flight available for the day. We had to and able to still book the flight for the same day costing 28, 575 Rs. from Bangalore to Raipur (via Mumbai-PNR AD7IVQ/YDSHUT) through third party website. I would like to report complaint against the rude behaviour of indigo staff and miss management in Bangalore airport and a compensation for the tickets. Was this information helpful? |
