[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — intentionally delay created by staff

On pnr ei4c2h, u had to travel from bangalore to lucknow. I was told 5 min before closing time (45 min) i. E. At 50 min before flight time that they cannot issue the tickets because the time is over. I constantly kept asking him that you still have 50 min. He didn't listen and said no-no this is over..
Pathetic experience and the lesson learnt is no more travel from indigo. Thanks for a new experience. No wonder the customer satisfaction is 11%

Hi,

With reference to your post, we have investigated the matter and would like to summarize our findings for you.
Passengers were booked to travel in flight 6E-903 from Bengaluru to Lucknow scheduled to depart at 05:35 hours on 5th April 2018. As per policy, check-in counter closes 45 minutes prior to departure. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. In fact, they try to accommodate passengers who report marginally late. Based on our records, passengers reported at 05:02 hours which is 33 minutes prior from scheduled departure. Since our check-in counter was closed at the time of reporting, our staff was unable to accept you for the same flight.
Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help you reach your destination, our airport team offered to accommodate you on the next available flight as a Customer Service Gesture, which we understand were accepted and passengers were duly travelled to the destination. As always, we were happy to have provided assistance to you and would request your understanding in this regard.
