We had booked the tickets from Dubai Mumbai and back in July 2015 and while coming back I had booked meals by paying extra for my wife and 3.5 yrs son.
Then we had to reschedule the tickets. I paid all the charges to rescheduling.. and the return was booked on 4th oct 2015 evening flight to Dubai.
We did not carry meals for our kid thinking we have booked it in flight. WE were waiting and waiting for the meals and there was nothing coming along. my son was getting cranky out of hunger and it was difficult for us to manage.. even my wife had to take medicine after meals and we were waiting.
We requested the air hostess about the meal and she was also confused as why the meals are not booked.. then I checked the ticket first ticket had meals prices mentioned and in reschedule ticket the price was not mentioned.. they had removed it convinently without even bothering to inform me that I have to rebook it .. and I don't know where the money is gone...
Then we bought the meal and luckily there was something to eat..
We came home and wrote to indigo on the web chat they informed that when you reschedule the flight we cancel the meal adjust the money.. and this was completely not told to me. there was no information on the call about the rescheduling tickets would get the meals cancelled.. if we were told we would have paid extra and booked meals as this was the plan... I informed that I was not told.. so they said we shall check the call and incase you are not informed about the charges then we would register as complaint alternatively kindly write email to our complaint sell.
I wrote an email explaining a situation saying kindly change the process.. for which I got an very unapologetic response that there is pop saying your meals are adjusted and so we cannot do anything.. They did not even bother to check my complaint. they did not even understood what I have asked.. and they were in hurry to close the complaint .. I had done the reschudling thru phone how can I read a pop up..
When I made further complain they called me and said we would give you a meal free . I felt soo bad that my effort was to inform them that kindly change the process and don't trouble other customers specially when one is carrying a baby they have to plan everything..
my efforts was completely wasted. so any one traveling with indigo please be careful and check your tickets as anything can change without any responsibility of the airline.. Was this information helpful? |
