Dear sir/madam, i am a resident of abudhabi. I had booked a mumbai-chennai ticket on jul, 8th 2017 flight 6e 768.14:40 — 16:50. I arrived at the airport and checked in my baggage. I also got boarding pass. We were 4 passengers. I was carrying liquor which i realized at the time of security check and they asked me to go to indigo desk for help, me n my wife went and ask for the solution. Inspite of giving the correct advice, they made us go to and fro to airport office and so on. My children cleared the security and my wife also arrived near the counter. Inspire of looking at her, mr girish who was on duty at that time just closed the area and said you have missed the flight. My husband also requested a lot to the security personal to allow to go fast but they were very non cooperative. We were not late and we were at the airport holding a boarding pass intact near your desk, then also they didn't bother. We were asked to throw the liquor which we did then also they didn't wait for 2 minutes. They are telling protocol? This is not all acceptable. We just requested to accommodate us in the next flight, those arrogant and unprofessional people asked us to pay rs. 35000 for 4 tickets. What about the money which we had already paid and could not board the flight. What kind of service do you provide? You don't bother about how your passenger suffer? If we would not have arrived on time then there was no point in requesting them but we were very much there. I here by would like to strongly forge a complaint against your manager in charge at the mumbai airport ms. Clytra, ms. Poonam d. They were behaving as though we are defaulters and we have committed a very big mistake. They didn't make an announcement because its a silent airport. Understood but atleast when you know that all the passangers are very much there at the airport right in front of you, then help them to board a flight. Pathetic airlines and arrogant staff. We would never ever travel with indigo. I request you to kindly refund my funds after deducting whatsoever charges.
