I am corporate flyer with indigo airlines and so travel atleast twice a month by your airlines.
I was yo catch 6e 3612 morning 6 am flight from mumbai to delhi.
I reached airport a bit late due to non availability of cab and was further delayed due to security check which was held up due to school picnic chaos. During security check up there were announcement by other ground staff to move ahead and do there security check up. There was an indigo staff standing over there but had not made any announcement regarding final call in fact he was busy with his mobile. After security check i headed to gate no 29. The moment i reached i saw the bus moving on several request to mr. Vipul the ground staff that he could hold the vehicle he flatly refused and was very rude to talk to. After me there were another 4 people who had reached later. All were requesting to atleast request him to talk to higher authority and let us in.
But mr. Vipul did not budge and was not interested in talking and was rather rude.
I do understand that i was late to each airport and this was my first instance to get late for the flight. Would have been kind of him to speak to us properly and atleast requested the managers to let us in. Due to chaos at security i had to miss my flight and had to pay 4600 to rebook the next flight.
I would appreciate if the ground staff should be more courteous and helpful to the flyers.
People like vipul should go under training to handle customers.
Now i have boarded this 6e 964 flight which was to leave at 7.50 from mumbai though the doors are closed at 7.48 the standard ontime closure but the captain has made announcement that flight will be delayed by 20 minutes as there is traffic congestion.
If you claim to be on time then it should be ontime always. While writing this mail at 8.20the flight has not been pushed back. When we are paying to be on time then you should make sure that flight is on time as always.
Hope that we get to know some feedback and some training programme given to mr. Vipul’sfor handling customers
