I was flying with indigo airline on 09.06.2017 from delhi to pune departure time 17:50 and collected boarding pass around 15:30
I was at the boarding gate much before time but just before boarding had to urgently go to toilet. I informed the person at the boarding gate regarding my urgent issue. He said ok and i managed to reach back at the boarding gate at 17:30.
But he did not allow me to board and said that i was late by 2 mins and my luggage has already been taken out and the aircraft is already on the runaway. How it is possible for them to take my luggage in 2 mins delay and aircraft already on runaway 20 mins before departure??? He said only option is that you will have to take next flight at 21:05 by paying fare difference.
I tried so much to make the staf[censored]nderstand but they were abusive and pushed me away.
I went to the airport manager and he asked me to pay fare difference of 13000. But somehow i convinced him for 3200 and i had to take that option as i had no other alternative left else i would have to stay at airport. I paid by debit card and i insisted for the receipt but was not given for no reason.
Please find attached both the boarding passes along with my debit card voucher.
Many other passengers were also affected and i feel indigo did on purpose to earn extra income and no other airline are not so inhumane and abusive.
Finally i managed to take 21:05 flight but i really feel i am cheated and request for refund of fare difference of rs. 3200 and extra compensation for my mental stress and 3 hours delay.
