This is the sequence of event that happened on 20th September 2015.
1) I had a 6.10 am flight from Hyderabad to Delhi. Due to heavy security,
I reached to counter late and hence was not allowed to board the flight.
The attachment for the same has been provided (attachment).
2) I decided to book the next available ticket on Indigo which was a 14:35 flight.
However, since tickets of earlier time were available with another airline, I booked the same and I cancelled the 14:35 Indigo flight.
3) I was offered a cancellation receipt (attachment 3) and was promised a refund within 14 working days.
When I wrote an email regarding the refund, the Indigo management straight away refused to provide the refund.
Just to reiterate, the receipt for Rs. 5450 (attachment 3)has been attached above.
I was shocked at the management response, even with me producing the receipt for the same.
I have wasted far too much of my time chasing for refund.
Please look into the matter.
