I have been fan of indigo and prefer to fly indigo, but today in Chandigarh airport I had really annoying experience. Indigo is supposed to ensure a uniquely smooth, seamless, precise, gimmick-free customer experience but my check-in counter experience was totally opposite. The gentleman sitting at express check-in counter seem to be cross with me for no apparent reason. He had problem with everything. First he asked me to show identity proofs for both my kids - aged seven and four. I have not been asked identity proof of four year old anywhere in other airports so far. I wonder if you are asking identity proofs for all the kids which are flying with indigo.
Then he had problem with my luggage. I was having one check-in bag. He said my bag weighs 32kg while the limit is 30kg "for porter". I am not able to find such rule on your website. He made me open my bag and take out few things. I had to carry those things in hand all the way since I was not having any cabin luggage. I was travelling with two small kids with no help. He really went out of his way to make that journey uncomfortable for me.
I wonder why I deserved such a special treatment. Was this information helpful? |
