Dear sir
To introduce, i am abhay kumar gupta vp - operations, haldiram snacks pvt. Ltd. Noida. I and my family travel frequently to different destinations preferably by indigo.
On oct. 10, my family was schduled to fly from delhi to kolkata at 17.55 hours by 6e 307. The passenger details are as under
1. Seema gupta female age 52 yrs pnr sdyp2g flight 6e 307 at 17.55 hours
2. Shatakshi gupta female age 19 yrs pnr ue8yfg flight 6e 307 at 17.55 hours
They checked in well in time. Since my wife had a problem in walking so she was trying to take a lift for boarding gate instead of escalator but due to rush hours it took some time.in spite of all difficulties still they managed to be at boarding gate just before 17.20 hours at the time when a staff member of indigo was making an announcement that this the final call for passengers for flight 6e307. Though they were present in front of this person he did not allowed them to borad the aircraft and offloaded by saying that you are late. They were late or they were the only two passengers left behind to take to aircraft (There were only 160 passenger, hence boarding completed early). So instead of arranging a transport to aircraft they preferred to off load them. They were asked to take next flight without mentioning that they need to buy another ticket. They were asked to purchase another ticket and boarded the next flight at 07.35 pm. Because of all this my family has gone through a trauma and stress. We have never faced this situation in our national and international travel. We understand the importance of rules and regulations and believe in following the same. We are not like any other person after living in abroad for 30 long years travelling frequently almost every month nationally and internationally.
To cut the long story short i would like to know is this is the way to deal with two lady passenger who were travelling alone considering that the indigo flight is more secured safe and always in time. Or is this one another way of making money. I am wrting this to you becasue both the passengers have not violated any rule of airline. Simply because the indigo staff was rude all this happened. I would appreciate your positive reponse by granting refund of money paid towards buying two tickets by my family on airport, if you wish me and my family members to continue as a member of indigo family and travel by indigo. As you know many options are available, we will be forced to change our preferred airline and i mean it.
