Hi, I have an IndusInd bank platinum credit card. 14th of October bank person has sent me a settlement letter as per our conversation on phone and told me to pay in 3 EMI optional, the total amount is 60, 000/- settlement letter file is encrypted in my Email.
As per the conversation on the phone, the bank person told me to pay immediately Rs.7000/- (Which I have paid immediately on 16.10.2020) and a balance of Rs.13, 000/- I paid on 31.10.2020
the second installment also I have paid on time Rs.20, 000/- dated 20.11.2020
the 3rd installment is delayed but I have paid on 02.03.2021 and the same day I received the call from the bank person that today is the last day and we have to close the file, please pay immediately today itself, same I have done and shared the receipt of the payment to the person on what's and again I called him for confirmation and he has confirmed me on phone.
I lost my job 23rd of March 2020 because of the Covid situation, still trying and applying for the job portal, it is very hard for me to live a normal life in this financial crisis, I surprise when again bank people are chasing me for the balance payments instead of issuing the settlement letter to me, I make all the payments as per bank confirmation and settlement amount.
I contacted indusind bank credit card settlement team and send several emails but they are denying to issue the settlement letter and writing me to come to the branch for the discussion, In this lockdown period, I can't travel anywhere because I don't have any essential job or card to go out, how can I travel to a bank that is not possible for me in this situation.
I faced this issue and this created mental pressure on me. Moreover, every day I got so many calls from the IndusInd bank collection team and they are harassing me as well after taking the settlement amount from me.
I attached the settlement letter correspondence from Indus bank for your reference, request please help us out.
