Infosys Technologies Limited — quality of silver

I have purchased a lot of silver jewellery expecting it to be of some standard like kdm for gold and there were no making or wastage charges. But after billing and all are done when asked about quality i was told that the items contain only 85% of silver and we paid price of pure silver for them. What kind of scam is this. I atleast expected 92.5 % quality which is the standard at most places although some shops get u articles at 95 % quality. Lesson learnt for life. Of some thing is available cheap, there is always a scam behind it. So is the silver jewellery at lalita under the mask of no making and wastage charges
