Ixigo — Additional charges for rescheduling

A booking for flight from Kochi to Bangalore was done yesterday (29/04/2024) for two people under emergency circumstances and due to changes in events following the book the flight needed to be rescheduled to 05/05/2024. The website on rescheduling showed that the final amount to be paid for rescheduling as rs 996 considering both airline service and Ixigo service however the portal was experiencing certain failure. Hence contacting the customer care officer was the option and on connecting they have charged rs 7236 for rescheduling. This is not the initial or the site vide amount. This is unacceptable and denial of my service. Hence i was unable to reschedule my flight and faced a loss in my booking amount of Rs. 16600. I would like a refund and a compensation for the disparities in the services offered by your application.
