Periodic maintenance is carried out once in 45 days. However, we are not aware of what check list activities have been carried out. No signed report is handed over to the security staff or no message or mail is sent to us about maintenance activity carried out with date and time stamp.
During each and every maintenance service we used to insist on testing of automatic recovery feature. It looks it is not being tested effectively. Today early morning our security staff got stuck in the list for 20 minutes due to EB invoked power cut. The lift did not move down and land in next lower floor. It got stuck between 3rd and 4th floor. After, some struggle we opened the lift door and the security staff came out. If Auto recovery feature is activated, should not the lift come down automatically to the next lower floor and the door of the lift got opened?
I contacted the staff manager one Mr. Siva to arranage for emergency help. He informed us that he was transferred to Anna nagar office and was no longer looking after T Nagar. we would have been put in comfortable position if we have been periodically informed of staff who are in-charge of our area in respect of maintenance and their contact numbers.
Please depute your concerned staff to our premises and check the auto recovery feature of our lift. As per records available with us last maintenance activity was carried out on 10th April 2021.
