Hello Sir/Ma'am,
I (Sindhu Swetha) from Chennai have purchased my first spectacle from Lenskart during August (of 2016), of
Model - John Jacobs Stratford JJ 1434 Black Red Silver Red Black C4 Eyeglasses - Product ID - 114052. (Order ID – [protected]). The Tag price for the selected frame was Rs.3999/-, which falls under free lens category.
The Frame started loosening from the arms, for which complaint was raised to the same person (Lenskart, Nungambakkam). Initially he tightened the framed and claim to have no further loosening issue but since the frame seemed to be damaged and unable to use, I reported the same again to the same person. He claimed that the frame has to be sent to the laboratory so as to get it fixed. So I was made to wait a week to get my frame fixed.
After a call from showroom regarding delivery of fixed frame, I found that the screw that was replaced for the missing one seemed to be different from that of actual one and the other arm also seemed to be damaged and loose. For which I enquired about change of frame and got an acceptance for the same and selected a different frame of same brand (Order ID – [protected]) on 25.10.2016. The Tag price for the selected frame was Rs.2995/- (So refund amount has to be around Rs.1000/-) which also falls under free lens category.
November 5th 2016 was when I got my replaced frame delivered from showroom.
-- When I claimed for Bill, he refused and says there is no bill generated for replaced ones. So I did not receive any Bill generated for replaced frame.
-- And further when I enquired for refund the person (who was dealing with this from initial) seems to claim that no refund for the replaced frame, Since they have provided an Upgraded Lens, which has no documents.
-- Initially he says that the previous bill amount was around 3200/- only, so there is not much difference from replaced frame bill amount (If so, the difference won’t be more than 100/-). When asked for bill from Database, refused to check initially (Since he had customers waiting it seems), and when I was sure about the amount and further insisting him to check he showed me the bill amount to be Rs.3895/-
-- He gives me a bunch of reasons when I questioned about these,
- That he has taken pressure due to Franchise change of that (Nungambakkam) branch.
- They have preferred an Upgraded lens for the replaced frame to bring the Bill amount to the previous bill amount so that no refund has to be made – (As said by the person) without my concern.
Since I had good opinion about Lenskart and how new offers and services you provide, which made me switch over from my usual store. But this experience with the Lenskart is disappointing, after so many visits to the store and quality of a branded frame.
Kindly requesting you to raise ticket over this issue and refund the payable amount. I have attached all purchase related documents.
