I am posting the grievance letter sent to makemytrip.Com which is self explanatory
dear sir/Madam
on december 05, 2012, I searched for a flight from indore to trivandrum(2 adults) on www.Makemytrip.Com and I was shown several results from which I booked tickets as my booking ID nf[protected]. The booking was for jet airways for the sector indore to mumbai and airindia express for the sector mumbai to trivandrum.
Indore to mumbai dep: 08.20hrs arr: 09.35hrs
mumbai to trivandrum dep: 10.35hrs arr: 13.00hrs
the time gap between the two flights was just 1hr 15 mins.
After the booking was done, I was surprised to see that the connection flight was from the international airport of mumbai (terminal2 sahar airport). The site never alerted/Informed me about from which airport I have to board my connection flight. This is misleading and sheer cheating of customer! when I contacted the makemytrip customer care for cancelling the second flight alone, they said that it is not possible and I may go on with the same as there wont be any issue in getting the connection flight from international airport as there is internal bus transfers inside the airport itself.
My flight from indore, landed at mumbai, at 09.45 am, december 20, 2012, which means I have hardly 5 minutes to get transferred to international airport and do the check in for the connection flight. I availed the bus service at the airport & they could transfer to the next airport only by 10.20am. When I entered the airport the officials said that, we cannot board the flight as the counters are already closed 1 hour before the departure, I.E, at 9.50 am. The air india officials present there told me that I will be eligible for full refund as I haven’t travelled and I will have to claim it via makemytrip as I booked it through them. I could get the next flight to trivandrum only by the next day which caused me several damages, both monetary and mental. The tickets were charged rs.24818/- For two o[censored]s for the next available flight. We had to stay in a hotel for that day at mumbai.
I contacted makemytrip for claiming the refund, who first replied me to contact the airline directly. If I have to take it up with airline authorities for cancellation, why I booked through makemytrip.Com, I could have directly gone to airline site directly for booking the flights. You people are taking the service charges from the customer and expect us to do all job ourselves? what rubbish is this? when I asked him to escalate the call to his higher authorities, he asked me to be online and went away for 30-40 mins putting me on hold @ roaming network. He came back and told me that he has escalated the complaint to his higher authority, but didn’t let me speak to him directly and said me that his higher authority will contact me back within 24 hours. Nobody contacted me back till morning of 22.12.2012. When I called them again today (22nd) morning the executive said that 24 hours is not yet over and saturdays & sundays are not working days, which turned to be wrong as said to me by a higher official later. Then the call was escalated the official was asking me the phone number and dates which I contacted them. He straight away said that refund is not possible as I have not called them. I entrusted my brother to call makemytrip on the next days of booking and don’t remember the phone numbers/Timing of call.

When I asked him about the fraudulent & misleading data given in the site that the timing between the flights is 1.35hrs while the actual time gap is just 1.15hrs, he said the following to me, which was disgusting & unwarranted.
1. You could have ensured/ Checked the timings of the flight & airports before booking the same.
2. You booked that ticket blindly as it was the cheapest.
3. You can go and lodge complaint anywhere.
4. Go to our site and read the instructions/ Terms & conditions thoroughly before booking any tickets.
I have recorded the call in my mobile phone.
This is a case of sheer cheating of the customer who believe in you particular service. I have been booking tickets through makemytrip for the last 3 years. I haven’t experienced such a situation earlier. You people shoudnt have displayed that connection flight which nobody in the world can catch/Connect as the time gap for getting in to the next flight is just 15 minutes, that too from the next airport which will take at least 20 to25 minutes.
I know very well how to claim for compensation from makemytrip for the entire episode. Currently, I am only claiming only the refund of my airindia express charges, I.E., Rs.11298/-
As told by the official, in my recorded phone call, I will wait till tuesday (25.12.2012)for a favourable reply for refund, and after that, I will lodge a complaint & claim compensation in consumer court for cheating the customers.
I am giving this in writing only to make a proof, so that you people wont ask me for the phone number/Time etc later.
On 24.12.2012, one mr. Samirkhan pathan called me on my mobile and talked to me and apologised about the happenings and he said that a favourable decision is expected within 72 hours. Even after 72 hours, no reply is coming from their side.
I lost rs.24828/- For the next flight ticket(next day,21.12.2012) from mumbai to trivandrum (spice jet sg275). I want rs.24828/- As compensation. Please note that the hotel rent for one day at mumbai and the mental torture are not included in this compensation amount.

On january 3, 2013, One Kajal Devi from their Customer Delight Team, called me and emailed me and confirmed that she is refunding me Rs.24828/- in next 5 working days. Today is 19 Jan 2013. Till now I have not reeceived any money back. When I called them again, they are responding like such things never happened. I have escalated the complaint to their Management, This is the response/auto reply which I get From their Side..

      I am a registered travel agent under Make My Trip portal. My Affiliate ID is AFF12199. I had a booking at a hotel named Mi-Casa in Shillong, Meghalaya through the Portal on 12/01/2013 for two nights starting from 14/01/2013 to 16/01/2013. The hotel and the portal has confirmed the booking. But when the guest arrived at the hotel, the hotel authorities said that they do not have any available rooms. After 1 hr or so, they have provided a room which is not satisfactory to the guest. Kindly solve the matter at the earliest.

        I booked a trip through MakeMyTrip (hotel + flight) on 22nd Dec 2012 (booking ID NP[protected]. The travel date was 3rd Jan 2013 & I was supposed to travel with my wife & infant child. I got the mail confirmation of booking where that contained my hotel voucher & was written that the flight itinerary will be mailed shortly. When I didn't receive the flight tickets by 28th Dec, I tried contacting the company & raised my query online. Also I visited their Kolkata office, but didn't get any resolution. I also spoke to a representative in Gurgaon from their Kolkata office landline, but didn't receive any call back, as promised.
        Suddenly on 2nd Jan morning, I got a mail from them saying "due to technical reasons your booking is not confirmed". My travel date was 3rd & I made all the arrangements. I had to re-plan & went to Thailand instead on my own, with my infant son.
        My fault was I ignored the advice of two of my colleagues, who went through similar experiences. I trusted a company, who proclaims to be the best, but the experience was horrible. Want to let others know about this & think 100 times before doing any transaction through MakeMyTrip.

          I had done hotel booking online thru MakeMyTrip
          -On 18th Dec I got confirmation mail for my Hotel
          Booking at Dapoli-Booking ID-IN 1212B12628
          -On 20th Dec I got call from Make my trip team .They
          informed me that Hotel booking not confirmed

          -I was left clue less as there was no response from you despite my
          repeated reminder mails.
          -I contacted call center and registered the complaint thru phone

          -Still there was no response from Makemytrip
          -On 25th Dec I registered the complain online (Complain
          no[protected]
          -On 26th Dec I got reconfirmation from make my trip with
          following words “Kindly note, your booking is CONFIRMED and you are not required to contact the hotel or MakeMyTrip.com to reconfirm
          the same.”

          -I reached Hotel after 7 Hrs of journey on 29th Dec with my family and to my almost surprise there was no booking on our name.
          -We contacted Make My trip but they did not do anything .Hotel Top in Town did not allowed us to stay in the hotel
          -I demand INR 100000 for the harassment made to my family

            Hi.
            I have taken a package from makemytrip.com which covered Cochin->Munar->Thekkkady->Alleppey->Kumarakom as my honeymoon package. I would like to inform that in spite of me paying a huge amount of 42000, the trip was a horrible experience and was not at all worth the amount I paid. Below is my feedback for the same.


            The Misty, MUNNAR Munnar
            I was in the The Misty, MUNNAR for two days and my stay here was the most horrible experience in the whole trip. I was given room No 105. The room was not at all cleaned and cob webs and wetness due to water leakage was easily seen in the room. Though the room had a Geyser but due to faulty switch it was not working. There was no electricity connection in morning.The hotel was located at distance of 1 + hr from Munnar due to which I was not able to cover many sightseeing places. I had complained to Neetu Khosla (contact person from makemytrip) for the same. She assured me changed in hotel but it was not made.There was no one at reception to address the problems as well. The hotel had only 7 rooms and 3 staff. I failed to understand how this place is rated at all. Also I fail to understand that in spite of me paying a huge amount, why this hotel was even allocated to me.

            Lake Queen Hotel , THEKKADY

            The room (room no 202) allocated to me was not at all up to the mark. Following is the feedback of the room.
            a. Room didn't had AC
            b. The Room was very small and untidy. Toilet pipes were easily seen near the bed.
            c. The bathroom door of the room was not closing.
            d. The hotel didnt had room service.
            e. No Wifi / Internet connection.
            f. Hot water was not available all the time and was available for 3 hours in morning for whole hotel , eventually leading to cold water in those 3 hours as well.

            Along the low standard of the hotels, I also faced following problems.

            1. The hotel Misty Munnar was some 1 + hr drive away from Munnar and hence i was not able to cover many site seeing places in munnar.
            2. At Kumarakom, I was given a voucher for paddy fields resort. This hotel was changed after the start of my trip. ( I have a voucher said BOOKING CONFIRMED in bold and highlighted letters. I think u guys confirm the hotel to customer first and then book hotel later)
            3. At Allepey, my voucher said a confirm booking for one night but at JCT house boat, i was told that my booking is only for 3 hours. This caused lots of confusion and phone calls to makemytrip. The makemytrip IVR was down that day and Neetu Khosla shamelessly didn't pick my calls and later switched off her mobile.

            I am really upset with the makemytip point of contact Neetu Khosla . When ever I use to call her, she was not available in office and hence things used to get delayed for the day or two. I had to do 3 -4 times followup with her for a detailed itinerary and it was only on 16th( that is one day before my departure) i was having complete plan of my trip (which later changed when i already started my trip). Due to this I was not able to check in details about each hotel. During my conversation about Munnar, she suggested me number of her friend, who was helpless in solving my problem and suggested me to call toll free number. In such a crisis situation I was expecting a help and not some one who will tell me makemytip toll free number. When I started complaining about the trip, neetu stopped picking my calls and even turned her cell phone off. This is not a professional behavior. Also she promised some complimentary things to me like cake and decorated room which was no where to be seen.

            Feedback from other of same trip.

            I met Mr Sachin Gije and Mr Bento Sequeira during my trip. They have also registered from makemytrip. They were charged much lesser than me( Eg Mr Sachin was charged only 19K for the same trip) Also they were provided with a sedan Class taxi while i was provided with Tata indica.


            In all with above trip, I am feeling cheated and overcharged. I would like to demand refund of my money as the trip was not at all worth it.The trip meant a lot to me as this was my honeymoon trip and makemytip took good care to spoil it completely. I have registered complaint on call as well ( Ref No[protected], Contact person Niharika) but i am yet to see any progress for the same.

            I hope this complaint is taken seriously.

              I tried to book tickets 3 times on 07-january-2013. I got errors after doing payments
              1st time tried to booked from makemytrip then made payment from yesbank-amount was deducted Rs.15293
              2nd time tried to booked from makemytrip then made payment from hdfcbank-amount was deducted Rs.15083
              3rd time tried to booked from airindia website then made payment from yesbank was deducted Rs.14106
              why this thing happened. This thing happened 1st time with me and only with your websites.
              No internet connection was lost at that time. Rs.44000 was cut on the same day and tickets were not booked.
              Who is responsible for this?

                I booked an international flight ticket on 18th Dec 2012 thru MakeMyTrip(Booking ID: NN[protected]. During the transaction I applied a valid Deal Code (expiry: March 31, 2013) for payback, which was accepted by the system. I double checked and confirmed it through MakeMyTrip customer care executive if it’s instant discount (reflected immediately) or a payback before making the actual transaction. After affirming this I applied it and got a success. I was told by MMT executive to wait for couple of weeks for the payback to happen to my ICICI account but it didn’t.
                So I called MMT customer care executive to know the status. To my surprise, I was told deal code is missing in their system, so cash back can’t happen. I’d a long conversation on this and MMT executive accepted such incidents may happen sometimes and can be rectified. I was told to send a screenshot of the transaction which I did. But as it went further, I was misinformed first about Deal Code being applicable only for domestic flight. Then again I showed them another link from official ICICI bank site for it being applicable on international flights as well.
                First they tried to manipulate me with the wrong information and when it didn’t work they simply refused to payback.
                Clearly MMT treat their customers STUPID and try to get away with lousy, misdirected information. With no cooperation on my repeated request I’m forced to write here a complaint.
                They obviously don’t treat their customers well, whatever they may claim. I found ClearTrip more friendly, honest and pleasant.
                It’s a clear case of fraud and I want justice.
                (Note# MMT must have my recorded conversation with executive on the day of booking which I did moments before my booking flight. This serve as evidence that I indeed applied Deal Code)

                  MakeMyTrip hotel booking was frustrating and waste of money
                  Hello,


                  I had booked hotel “Lake View", Ooty for two days using Make My Trip(MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NH[protected] and paid two days hotel rent in advance. I had reached hotel Lake View at morning 7.00am and the hotel receptionist told me ours is 24hrs check in, if check in at 7.00 am then you have to leave by 7.00am only or otherwise you have to pay 100 rs more for each hr + whole day tax. So waited till 9.00am and checked-in to the room.
                  For this hotel amenities mention in the make my trip website are not there like, there was no BAR, no hot water and even no towels, towels i asked at morning, hotel provided the towels in the evening when i am back to the hotel.
                  I have informed all these things to makemytrip customer care in the 1st day evening and customer care person also confirmed hotel doesn't have such amenities, so i told him next morning I will vacate the hotel and return my 2nd day money and customer care person agreed on this.

                  2nd morning 8.00am i left the hotel and i stayed in the other hotel. After onwards I am calling make my trip customer care regularly to get the refund amount, When i called mmt for 4 or 5 times, one of the customer mailed saying i will get my money back and here is the mail

                  Till today(5th Jan) i have not received any money and when i called CS, they says their team still investigating.

                  So never ever trust makes my trip, dealing with them just like talking to country side touts.
                  Interestingly whenever i called to CS, there would be message after sometime, we tried to call you but your mobile was not reachable. I dont understand for others my mobile reachable but for mmt how come it not reachable. Simply they are cheaters, never ever trust this site because I am sure they are knowingly delaying so you will forget after sometime and they need not to pay anything.

                    i have purchased ticket for my friend from make my trip 15/dec/2012 from hyd to dubai for the date of 20/12/2012 through my bank account when my friend go to airport they dont allow to him to baord they said my ticket is not valuable for fly in this ticket some mistake done by make my trip so they adviced me to contact me to make my trip when i contact to make mt trip they are not responding they refuse to hear me please help go to get back my many thank you and waiting for you reply
                    i book my ticket form canada to asr by make my trip ,i paid $1640 for that.But when i check my visa details my accounts shows over charge of $1440. i called lots of time to ask them why there is more money out from accounts
                    no one know anything and they dont had any manager with whom i can talk. Last day i talk with Deepak(supervisor) He said its minor mistake .This is bullsshit they call this minor mistake taking money out of this account
                    So i want to let everyone know that dont book your tickets form make my trip

                      When I was about to departure i came to know that my flight is late because of bad weather condition, so i called hotel regarding my pickup
                      And suddenly I was shocked to know that my booking is not there

                      i just called khushboo jain (who did my booking and all),and she said no need to worry you just reach there and everything will be there. now as I reach there taxi driver told me that you will be drop at JIOS DO MAR hotel instead of Estrela do mar beach resort,then I called to khushboo jain and she simply said we don’t know that where they (Estrela do mar beach resort) let people for standard rooms, JIOS DO MAR is a part of Estrela do mar beach resort. she was totally fooling us.
                      but i ask taxi driver that let me talk to there manager frist .than i talk to Mr. Karan at Estrela do mar beach resort and he said you have not been booked here till now i will manage some option tomorrow, then i was totally frustrated that my Booking Date August 24, 2012 and till 11 dec 2012 my hotel is not being booked. then i showed him all details and he let us stay in JIOS DO MAR of night of 11th of dec 2012

                      Now my first question is why MMTRIP and there employee are fooling us ,i need my money back as while booking i have mention in my mail with khsboo jain if Estrela do mar beach resort will not be there i will cancel my trip????

                      And other question is, same package was available in your website at 24000 rs max and she asks me to pay 33000.whyyyyyyyyy???
                      Even though i paid , now what happened with me

                        I wish to update on the false promo made by make my trip.com,
                        I wanted to visit varanasi to perform last rituals to my dad. So I decided to book a flight from chennai- varanasi and back to chennai ( since they advert for the above destination), on visiting thier site, I came to know about the offer buy one get one. So I decided to book onward and return individualy and against making single round trip transaction, to avail this offer. before purchasing the ticket i confirmed with thier customer care, they said only Rs 1000 would be given as cash back. So I booked on 22 Novemer 2012 from chennai to varanasi for 13 December 2012 flight and booked the return ticket on the same day 22 november 2012 from varanasi to chennai for 14 December 2012.

                        After booking the ticket, found that no cash back has happened in my account from Makemy trip.com, so I enquired the customer care, I was said that they would deposit the amount after the journey.

                        Today 27 December 2012, When I inquired the customer care for the same reason they say the travel date of free ticket must be 7 days after the booking date of free ticket.
                        I clearly explained her the booking date is 22 November 2012 and travel date is 14December 2012 so it is more than 20 days, why it is not applicable to me and why you people gave me wrong info that 1000 would be cash back after journey.
                        Kindly help me to get right justice,

                          Recently i booked a travel ticket from Bangalore to Coorg through makemytrip. My booking id is NH[protected], booked in my name (Sibabrata Sahoo) on Tuesday, 18 December, 2012, 9:44 PM. The guest house i booked, that address was,
                          Stewart Valley, Coorg, Near Vartha Bhavan, Stuart Hill Road, Madikeri,Coorg,Coorg,Karnataka,571201. The contact person for the guest house was Mr, Naveen ([protected]). The booking was for 2-days from 22 December 2012 - 24 December 2012 for 5 peoples and the money that i spend was Rs. 13,814 using my credit card.

                          When we reached there on 22 December 2012 by 4PM and contacted Mr. Naveen, he directed to some other guest house. It was difficult for us to know the guest house name immediately because when we asked for confirmation about the name to Mr. Naveen, then he replied that you are at the back side of the house and the name board is available in front side. That is the reason we went inside of the house and few time latter we found the guest house name is Hill Valley in Mangaladevi Nagar. This was not the guest house we booked for, so we started communicating with MakeMyTrip customer care[protected]. Many times the call was disconnected and some times they replied Mr, Naveen will reach you, in next half an hour. But Mr, Naveen never came back to resolve the issue. By that time Home Valley house owner came to know about the fraud and demanded the money from us. Because we could not able to afford paying money again, so we back to bangalore on next day 23 December 2012. Before starting back to bangalore i talked again to makemytrip customer care and found they are unable to help in that emergency condition. I reached bangalore on 23 December 2012 night and on 24 December 2012, i placed a call to makemytrip to refund my paid money as well as all the lose that happened during the trip. They said they need 12 hr to resolve. For proper co-operation, i extended the time till 26 December 2012(10AM). I did not got any call back by that time, and when i called back again, i found they do not have any intention to work on it. They could not able to give me any decision about refunding my money.

                            Hello,

                            I've been through a horrendous experience and mental harassment due to makemytrip.com faulty reservation procedures.
                            I've booked Munnar Heritage Resort through makemytrip.com on 29th Nov, 2012 for 2 nights stay (22nd Dec, 2012 ~ 24th Dec. 2012). They have sent me the hotel confirmation voucher with booking Id - NH[protected] mentioning "your booking is already confirmed and no need to contact hotel or makemytrip for further confirmation".

                            Though I've re-confirmed the booking few days ago with makemytrip.com customer care.

                            But when me and my wife reached the Resort on 22nd morning, the resort guy said he had no intimation of our booking from makemytrip.com and they are full. Hence they couldn't give us room.

                            After almost 2 hours of continuous discussion with makemytrip.com executives and sales persons, finally the we got only 1 night stay in that resort and makemytrip.com assured that they'll arrange another resort for the second night within few hours.

                            But even after several hours they didn't do anything. Even the morning shift sales person left without notifying about my case to his evening shift executives. Then I called and communicated with them continuously for 3-4 hours to get a confirmed resort for the 2nd night. The makemytrip.com sales guy Mr. Prithviraj Barut sent me a SMS with Blue Bells Plantation Resort confirmation for the 2nd night and they assured this time Mr. Anil from that resort confirmed the reservation and there should not be any problem.

                            But unfortunately, when we arrived Blue Bells next day morning, same thing happened and we found Mr. Anil is from some other branch of that hotel and he never confirmed the booking with makemytrip.com.

                            So finally I requested a cancellation for the second night stay to makemytrip.com which is under process and I had to arrange another hotel for that night stay which was a tremendous task specially because of X-mas crowd.

                            So, my full holiday is ruined due to makemytrip.com mess-up. To add to this, I found there were many other guys faced same problem with makemytrip.com and many resorts confirmed that these kind of issues are common with makemytrip.com.

                            So, it seems there is no proper communication and handling with makemytrip.com sales guys and resort guys and customers are paying for this. If not monitory damage, at least huge mental harassment.

                            Hence, please be aware guys, try to avoid makemytrip.com for hotel booking and if you already booked, at least re-confirm with the hotel directly.

                            Hi,

                            I also had exactly the same experience after getting "Munnar Heritage Resort" as booking through makemytrip which was highly suggested by makemytrip executive Ms. Kavita.
                            As per them the resort comes under 3 star category and hence the money charged is equivalent to a 3 start hotel.
                            Travel date for me was 24th Dec to 26th Dec 2012.
                            As you had mentioned it clearly I also had the same experience once after reach, the manager Mr. Deny has no confirmation from makemytrip for my booking and hence i need to call to the makemytrip which itself take hell lot of time for them to pick up and then transfer to the concern department. After discussion and waiting in schorching sunlight for atleast 2 hours finally i got a confirmation and the person took my luggage and drop in cottage#7.
                            The hotel condition is very clear in few of the attached photographs.

                            It is a very simple question to makemytrip -
                            What they mean by vacation and a duty of a vacation planner?
                            They peoples do not understand when the customer is clearly mentioning many time that i am travelling with my family included with 1 kid of 2 years then how kind of reservation they should make?
                            If they can not make good arrangement then they quit from this service.

                            I will not gonna leave makemytrip for running my complete vacation and bringing instead of smile tear and wounds into my kids eyes and body due to worst condition of the hotel.

                              I have tried to book bus ticket through www.makemytrip.com on 28,September 2012. I did not get the ticket even though my money deducted from my account. I have contacted costumer care . They have given booking ID. They told money will refunded within 7 working days. I did not get money. Again contacted many times. I have complained by sending mail to [protected]@makemytrip.com . They replied that they are not able to refund automatically . So they asked to send Bank statement. I have sent and contacted trough phone. they told that money will refund within seven days. I did not get. Again and again I called .They are repeating the same words" waiting for seven days". Still I didn't get money.

                              MakeMyTrip — Booking cancelled but still no refund

                              This is very shocking experience i got from Makemytrip Customer executives.I was booked domestic ticket on 17th Feb 2010 from Mumbai to Guwahati. Due to some technical error on your website my ticket get cancelled. I talked to customer care they told me the amount will get credited on your account within two working days. The money get credited on my account on 20th Feb 2010 but on the same day they have debited RS 3000 from my account with the same reference no.
                              With lots of disscussion one of the customer care executive agree that mistake has happen from their end only and will refund amount in 7 working days but almost 12 days over but still haven't received amount. I callled them again and i need to explain the whole story to that guy but still he is not agree with what i am saying he want me to send my bank statement again. This is rediculous..

                              Very worst service provider... go for yatra.com it is one of the best service provider...

                                I cancelled my booking using paypal with makemytrip on october 19th 2012. And i have-been informed that i will get the refund processed in 10-12 working days. I didnt received my refund even after 12 working days. i made a complaint with customer care of make my trip and no response from them. I followed up and made another copmplaint on 2nd week of november, and then i got a response from them that they cant refund to paypal.they
                                asked for my singapore bank account details to process my refund, and i was informed that tyhey have intiated refund transfer to my singapore bank account and it will take another 10-12 working days. Now its end of year, and still i cant see the refund amount. I contacted my bank , and bank informed that there is no such payment processed from makemytrip. Now when i contacted makemytrip, they are asking fro my bank statement.
                                For gods sake, i dont know why are they asking for confidential information. SO irresponsible,no-commonsense customer support and accounts team.

                                Please kindly help me how to take this forward with consumer forum court.

                                Make My Trip — Refund not processed-1 month passed

                                Dear sir,
                                I booked a flight ticket using make my trip website on dated[protected] from Delhi to Mumbai, flight date[protected], for two adults named Mr. Mohan Singh Chauhan and Mrs. Pyro Chauhan. Booking was not confirmed due to some technical error but the account through which I was paying the fare, debited by Rs. 8212. I was confirmed by the customer care department of Make My Trip that the money will be refunded within 3 working days. From that day to till today, I am regularly forwarding mails and calling their customer care department but as of now 1 month has been passed and neither I got refunds nor any satisfactory revert from Make My Trip.

                                  I booked 2 tickets for 25th of Dec, 2012 from Chennai to Howrah, for myself and my wife. After booking we realize that we cannot take this flight, its shows "2 stops", because my wife cannot travel with this many flight changes as she is pregnant. So I decided to cancel this ticket.

                                  Later when I put mouse over "2 Stops" the details says it will stop only one place that is only Bangalore, if that is the case we would have not cancelled this ticket.

                                  Because Information which MakeMytrip shows on their site, that mislead me to cancel the ticket. For cancellation I have been deducted Rs. 2,500.

                                  When I have sent this refund request to the MakeMytrip, they are not refunding my money back.

                                    Due to Family emergency i booked ticket for my family using makemytrip.com on 15th Dec , Travel date was 17 Dec @ 9.30 AM


                                    As of now ( 11 PM @16th Dec), I haven't got the ticket though amount 2.6 Lakh (ICICI bank) was charged as of 15th Dec only.

                                    I have called up 6-7 time on makemytrip toll free number, everytime they apology for my issue, escalated it and ensured that they will return back to me, but no one has called me up

                                    Its less than 6 hours before i have to leave with my family (including two small kids) and i dont know...as no one is able to provide me 3 ticket

                                    Its very very painful event for me and my family when we dont know that we have to travel after providing big amount,

                                      I cancelled ticket for BLR to PNQ and return by GoAir for travel on Nov 17 (onward) and Nov 20 (return) booked through MakeMyTrip. The refund amount that MakeMyTrip claims to have credited to my card a/c is Rs. 4421/- (have an SMS from MakeMyTrip). The amount received in my a/c is Rs. 4039/-, and there is a difference of Rs. 382/-.

                                      I have been following up with them for last 3 weeks (Complaint No.[protected], and there are many more.. so I am not listing them here) to credit the additional amount. I have sent details provided by my bank (ICICI), and still there no response from their end. I am deeply frustrated at MakeMyTrip's handling of this situation, this despite me being a "Gold" rewards customer.

                                      Please note that this is not the first time I have had an issue with MMT. In Mar, 2012 I used their service to book Sterling Resort at Ooty on the eve of my 5th marriage anniversary. After a long 10+ hours drive to Ooty from Bangalore, we realized that there was an issue in the hotel booking, and Sterling Fern Hill at Ooty declined to provide accommodation. Finally, I settled for an alternative arranged by Sterling, and also lost Rs. 1500/- in the process. I had lodged a complaint with MMT (ID:[protected] immediately, but no response from them.

                                      It is my firm commitment to no longer avail MMT's service anymore I think there are better alternatives now.

                                        I had made hotel booking in Trivandrum 15.11.2012 for the date 19.11.12 to 21.11.2012 (2 Nights) through make my trip- MakeMyTrip Booking ID - NH[protected]. It was written on the confirmation voucher that my booking is confirmed & I need not to contact hotel or makemytrip for reconfirmation. When I reached the hotel, they denied me the entry & told me that they have communicated to make my trip through e-mail on 15th Nov-12 itself that there is no such vacancy on the booked dates. After reaching at the hotel, I was denied entry & was standing in the midnight on the road & calling helplessly to makemytrip for the alternative arrangement of hotel. After three hours of struggle & pain, I was finally told that make my trip has booked a room for me at hotel White Dammer. I took a taxi & I checked in the newly arranged hotel at 4.30 AM in the morning & a voucher was sent to the hotel & me.

                                        The day was full of inconvenience to me as whole night was washed out by the reluctant & reckless attitude of makemytrip service staff. I missed one important meeting with the customer on the following day & complete purpose of the travel to city was wiped out. This proved a major financial loss to me. Again my miseries were prolonged by makemytrip. I thought that I will sleep second night peacefully but at 12.00 clock midnight I got a call from hotel that make my trip has not paid to & I need to contact them for payment, otherwise I will have to pay again to hotel from my pocket. I called make my trip & two hours were wasted in the communication in night with makemytrip service staff. This night was also a pain to me because of make my trip. In the night makemytrip service staff promised that they will make the payment to Hotel early in the morning & I need not to pay. But when I went at reception for checkout, hotel informed that they have not received any payment & make my trip has stopped responding to their correspondence. It was a real humiliation that I was kept waiting for the payment delivery from you. Make my trip mailed hotel not to take payment from me on the promise that they will make payment after 10 AM. The hotel kept my luggage as security against payment default from make my trip & allowed me to go on business call. Again all these things delayed me & I missed another appointment with customer on next day also. When I came back in the afternoon to collect my luggage, I was shocked to know that still make my trip has not paid to the Hotel. I was forced to pay again
