Around 2 months ago I bought a diamond engagement ring as we always believed Malabar is the best place for buying jewellery as well as being daily customer!
Unfortunately, from the first wearing time a diamond has fallen and lost. It was the day of the marriage!
Went back and returned the ring for repair and pay for the diamond and I clearly asked to insure all diamond are well mounted! Three weeks after the same exact diamond has fallen and lost! Which indicates that the ring might has some sort of manufacturer defect! I went back to the dealer they sent the ring again for a repair and when I receive it, it clearly shows that the stone is smaller, not shining and glow appears on the sides!
Even the dealer agreed that the finishing was so bad!
I asked for a replacement, they agreed to refund all amount, but they said because the ring was resized it will lose 20% of its original price!
Do you think this is acceptable? This is the third time the ring is sent to manufacturer and each te is taking no less than 10 days
