On 6th August 2024 we gave our car, swift vxi 2022 (amt) model to Maruti authorized service centre to fix the automatic gear box issue, further the centre informed us that the gear box has to be replaced .Since the car has warranty we were informed that we could claim warranty to replace the automatic gear box from the service centre's side, but after claiming for the same the centre informed us that Maruti is delaying the approval process for warranty claim because of this the service centre isn't able to fix the problem and deliver the car on time. Regarding this issue we have mailed to Maruti's customer care but we haven't yet recieved any reply from them and no action has been taken. Maruti has to speed up the process on their side and give an immediate solution for the same.
This is not the first time I'm having this kind of experience with Maruti, It's just been 2 yrs since purchasing the car and we have faced issue with the compressor which took Maruti 1 month for service. And the same is happening again for the warranty process which is very pathetic and needs a lot more improvement.
I don't know how Maruti could provide us with such a defective product and we are looking forward for replacement or compensation for the car from the company's side . I'm facing mental stress because of such a product, waiting for the next issue to arise. Also it's hard without this major mode of transportation for a family of 4.I know Maruti manufactures poor cars but hasn't expected such a worst quality car from them .This is a serious concern from my side for Maruti to look upon our issue and give some permanent solution for innocent customers like us who are tricked into buying such defective cars and I expect some assurance from Maruti that this kind of disappointment won't happen next time.
