[Resolved]  Max Life Insurance — Financial fraud based upon my max life policy details

I got a call from one person who claimed to be from max life. She stated some facts about my policy which convinced me that she may be from max life company. Then she told me that your policy is operating on agent code due to which the bonus is going to that agent and now the agent has applied for bonus from my policy. She further asked if I would like to stop that payment of bonus to the agent and need her to file a complaint with the insurance ombudsman. To this I agreed and then she told that the complaint is being registered and someoine from GBIC will call me. After one day I got a call from another person who claimed to be calling from GBIC and verified the same facts. Then he told that since my insurance policy has been closed so we need some customer id for paying the balance amount and for generating that customer id I need to pay 49000 in the name of Aditya Birla Sun Life insurance. He further stated that this amount will also be refunded alongwith insurance amount. I fell prey to this and sent them an amount Rs 49000 by Gpay after sometime. After few day one more person called and told me that he is from login department of gbic and while registering the case he has received a demand of Rs 95000 for generating an NOC. He promised to refund all this by 10th July. I paid rs 95000 also. but next day I got a call from another person stating that he is from national fund clearing and my file has gone to him for payment but service tax has to be paid. He raised a demaind of Rs 170360/-. This I refused to pay. i doubted all this and then made a call to max life toll free no. wherefrom I got information that all this is a fraud. They registered my case and assured to look into the matter.
