This incident if on evening of 22-Jan-2022, around 9:30 pm
I was coming from Mahim towards western express highway saw signal was green on L. K. Marg signal, officer stopped me and check all my details and said all my paper work are clear and then he said you broke the signal, but I said I didn't jump the signal as when I saw during crossing it was still green but officer still arguing it was green but blinking (I still remember it was stable green) and blinking means orange. After officer started showing image in his mobile stating fine has been increased from 1500 to 500 I said I have not jumped signal so I wont pay fine.
Then officer said "Kaam kara marathi manus marathi manus la smjhun ghya n je kahi vattay te dhya aani nigha" indirectly he was asking for "Bribe" I refused to give bribe so he said you can leave and now as I checked an been issued.
My desirable resolution is to check CCTV of signal (L.K. Marg signal on S.V. Road) and if it's my mistake let me know via email or call and if possible with camera recording I will pay the fine but in recording if I'm innocent then action should be taken against officer for asking bride and falsely issuing challan Was this information helpful? |
