On the 30th of Jan I placed an order for a kitchen storage rack that I saw on my Facebook feed.
I made the payment via Paytm and the money was deducted via razorpay.
I received a confirmation sms from the seller but the product has not arrived, and I doubt it ever will. Paytm says it's out of their hands as does my bank.
The link sent on the sms now leads to a popup saying the webpage doesn't exist anymore ( surprise surprise).
Am attaching a snapshot of the confirmatory sms.
Amount deducted is Rs 598. Its not about the money though... But about how people cheat others.
Shopify, please help explain... I'm seriously considering consumer court.

I had made a complaint on 26-Jan-2022 Regarding online purchase of a chair, whose no response have been found.

I have place the order on 1st feb 2022, with amount of 898, order id is #1135. still i havent receive the refund to product .

My order details and store have disappeared after collecting payment. Believe they are attracting customers with their lowest quote and cheating after collecting payment.

Wanted to report a fraud that I have been made victim to in the name of dyson airwrap pro I have received a non dyson cheap perfect curl product.

I want a refund of my money and for you to take strict action against the merchant so that nobody else falls victim to this in the name of buying dyson product.

Please do not trust this fraudulent company/website/apps.
people are using this platform to create new stores under this website/company and promote fake products at a cheap rate with good-looking photos.
I have ordered my product using this fake marketing but I have realized that after 15 days when I didn't get any response.
once you purchase the product then the site will send you a message saying they will update once the product will be dispatched and provide a link. But after 2-3 days the link will not work.
The store you have purchased the product will not show in the link.
Also, Shopify doesn't have a proper email id and contact number to contact and check the status of your order.
This is clearly smart fraud.
Don't Trust...

Very fraud, received torned products

Horrible quality of the product. What is shows it doesn't delivers the same. And also incomplete products delivered. Wastage of money. No refund option showing in website.

Above link they provided is not working and I have tried reaching shopify help center they have replied that they are not responsible for the shops listed under their site. Here is the reply I received from shopify help center:

"Ram (Support Advisor): Hi Sijo, how are you? Appreciate your time in reaching out. Got your message above, and I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to track your order. This is indeed very alaraming considering that you've spent your hard earned money. However, before anything else, I would like to humbly set your expectation on this situation. Shopify is the service that some shops use to build their website and shopping cart. We don’t ship or manage the stores’ inventory or orders. Each merchant’s shop is an independent business and they are responsible for running their business (fulfilling orders, etc). We are simply the company that provides the coding behind their website"
