[Resolved] National Insurance Company — Claim delayed for about 5 months | ||
Dear sir, ref: policy no :[protected] cert no. : tttms2745487 claim no. Edelweiss insurance - claim no clm0011453 claim amount : rs. 5099/- i had purchased a mobile from mobile store on 09/08/2015. I has insured the mobile with you through eelweiss insurance brokers ltd. On 20/10/2015 the mobile was lost and i submitted all the required documents to edelweiss insurance who verified the same and forwarded the same to national insurance ltd on 02/11/2015. (the snap shot of the same is attached for your ready reference) for further procedure and settlement of the claim. As of today it is almost five months past and my claim has not been settled. Does it take this much time to settle a claim of approx rs.5099/-?. Wheras premium for the same is deducted immediate at the time of purchase. I had contacted edelweiss but they say the delay is due to procedural delay from national insurance side. I request to check the same at the earliest and settle my claim and revert me asap. Sir i tried to lodge my complaint on your grieavance management system of national insurance ltd but i faced error many times and hence i hadto email you my grieavance.. May 1, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved They have not taken any steps to resolve the matter. whenever i email them they only reply we are following the matter have patience...since the insurance was taken from third party edelwess insurance brokers on behalf of national insurance i am emailing to edelwess insurance brokers on there email id [email protected] National Insurance Company customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
