Delay in permitting carrying out repair work
In respect of my damaged car - tn 01-v.2739- policy no[protected].
My vehicle maruti zen, bearing no. Tn.01. V.2739 was damaged due to the heavy rains that lashed chennai on may 18, 2016. The damage was caused on account of a tree branch falling on my car, i had therefore left the vehicle at abt maruti work shop at guindy on may 20, 2016 at 12 noon, with request to the workshop to carry out repair work after completing of insurance related formalities. Abt staff had informed the surveyor of the insurance company, viz., national insurance company ltd. And the insurance company had deputed their representative, one mr. Gemeni at 12.30 pm. Mr gemeni inspected my vehicle on may 23, 2016 and also visited the accident spot on may 25, 2016, both after my repeated prodding. However, till date, i have no information about his clearance for carrying out the repairs, the cost of the repair, coupled with estimates for the likely reimbursement. Hence i request the concerned officer of the insurance company to do the needful at the earliest, as 8 days has elapsed and i have been put to significant avoidable discomfiture.
