All the public and private insurance companies for vehicle or medical or other insurance make lots of promises while offering policy and record conversation between their executives and customer but after taking policy or at time of any claim ask to refer to policy document wherein many contrary things as compared to what was told at time of taking policy are mentioned The customer acts in good faith and does not record anything which ultimately goes against him .The insurance companies have got time line of 2-4 days and even more for replying and the purpose of any emergency by customer is defeated .They should be directed to respond to customers on same day and should be made accountable when some claim is made .IRDA should take necessary steps in this regard to protect interest of customers
