we would like to raise a complaint against New India Assurance, We purchased Motor Insurance Policy for our vehicle and the vehicle was theft, we made a claim and provided all the documents as per their requirement and the letters we received.
Due to the Covid-19, the courts were not functioning so we were unable to provide the Court Order and the Vehicle Non-Repossession Letter so we asked them for some more time via email, on 21st July'21 we collected all the desired documents and provided them via email after so many reminder emails to know about our claim status, we also submitted the hard copies to our claim branch office at Laxmi Nagar.
Since then we are trying to know about our claim status via emails and calls, but we didn't receive any response, And when we tried to contact to their customer care we got to know that our claim has been rejected and the reason is unknown, the insurer has rejected our claim without any intimation, We have submitted all the desired documents still they have rejected our claim, We made various attempts to know about claim status via calls and emails but nobody pick up the phone or answer the emails.
We purchased the insurance policy by paying premium amount of 16, 095, and what we got, this struggle where the company is not even responding to our calls or emails.
Now we would like to request you to look into this matter and settle our claim as its already been delayed due to Covid-19.
Further, We will think twice before choosing New India Assurance and also wouldn't recommend to anyone as their services are pathetic.
