My company has signed up a group policy with New India Assurance wherein my parents are covered for 80:20 CO-PAY. Earlier, in the month of November 2018, my father was diagnosed with blockage and hence had to be through Angiography and Angioplasty thereafter. As a cashless claim, I initially applied with New India Assurance and hence was asked to sign up for GIPSA PPN form at Bombay Hospital, Marine Lines, Mumbai .
With the active help of HealthIndia TPA, I was able to claim 80% of the claim balance and for 20% I was to apply with my personal insurer (Star Health India).
Star Health India has deducted a substantial amount from the balance payable citing no breakup of GIPSA PPN Package – Angioplasty[Rs. 160600]/Angiography[Rs. 29800]
New India Policy Number –[protected]
Star Health Card No. –[protected]
Patient Name – Mr. BharatKumar L. Sonigara
NEW INDIA IS NOT PROVIDING BREAKUP THEREBY LEADING TO CLAIM REJECTION AT STAR INSURANCE Was this information helpful? |
