Dear sir/madam,
I am sending this letter as a formal complaint about the insurance amount for the policy number -[protected].in june-2017 an insurance policy was automatic created by you for my vehicle (As on 24/05/2018). I received the policy by mail in the month of june for the amount of rs.26, 775/- which was rs.3, 000/- more than last year.
I am complaining because, i was not notified by the key person on time (Mere sending e-mail for such big issue is not justifiable i was not informed on my cell-phone neither i received any text-messages about the policy or amount or the deductions)
As i was not aware of the amount the insurance amt. Was deducted from my car-loan account, you don't have such power in your hands to deduct the amount automatically from other account and as result till date, i am paying fine and my cibil score has been declining since. For the above reason i would like to complain and know the following details:-
1) how my insurance amount has been increased from the last year.
2) which rule of depreciation you are applying, which has not depreciated the value of my vehicle instead it has increased the value of my asset and hence my insurance amt. Has increased from the last year.
3) is it not your responsibility to inform the customer about the renewal of insurance (This is how you are managing your customer and customer satisfaction?)
4) forget about the information do you have such powers and guts to deduct the insurance amt. Without customer knowledge from their loan account.
5) and above all was not enough so you also impose penalty and fine on monthly basis of rs. 500/- approx.
When i first learned of this problem, i contacted broker tata motors insurance ltd, maruti heights, raipur nearly 3-4 months ago and after the 4-5 visit which shows their irresponsibility and honesty towards their work (They totally ignored me and my problem) and was told that nothing could be done about my problem.
I believe that this response is unfair because the sector in which you are doing business is service based and please don't provide such services which harasses your customer. I would like a written statement explaining your company's position and what you will do about my complaint.
And to further resolve this problem i would like the refund of the excess amt. You charged me on insurance amt. And the monthly fine you are taking must be reimbursed to me, and cancel all my future dealing with you.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible to resolve this problem. If i do not hear from you within 10 days i will file complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies (Ombusdman, insurance regulatory and development authority (Irda), consumer forum, pandri, raipur, chhattisgarh) and consider my legal alternatives.
